Burn Notice 6.7 Review: "Reunion"

burn_notice_iconFor "Burn Notice", it’s two steps forward (knocking off Anson and Nate), one step back (returning to a client-of-the-week). While folding Sam Axe’s personal life into that client keeps things entertaining, the show is still gun-shy about straying too far from its established formulas. The fallout from Nate’s demise is confined to the periphery, just as the arc elements used to be. While the plot-lines are more continuous, opportunities are being lost to deepen the character depth and dynamics.

The Newsroom 1.7 Review: "5/1"

newsroom_iconThis episode of “The Newsroom” was its biggest gamble so far. While the date, 5/1/2011, isn’t as imprinted into the world’s consciousness as 9/11/2001, the surprise announcement of a Presidential address late one Sunday night certainly is, at least for those residing in the US. Presenting Osama bin Laden’s death, a story virtually everyone in the audience knows is coming, imposes an extra burden to get the tone right. For the most part, they do. While the interweaving of the personal stories is, at times, clunky, it is helped immensely by a show of strength from an unexpected source.

Noureen DeWulf on "Anger Management"

Noureen DeWulfOne of the summer's new series on FX is the sitcom Anger Management, starring Charlie Sheen. The series is based on the film of the same name starring Jack Nicholson. Noureen DeWulf stars as Lacey on the series. DeWulf recently talked to the media about her work on Anger Management.

Anger Management airs Thursday nights on FX at 9:30 p.m. Eastern and Pacific.

NEW YORK – August 15, 2012 – Syfy’s smash hit reality competition series Face Off announces a surprise crowning event for its third season, with plans to broadcast live from Los Angeles, CA on Halloween night 2012, Wednesday, October 31 at 10 p.m. ET. For the first time, America’s voice will be heard as viewers will make the final choice for the season three champion via a live voting feature that will be available immediately following the October 30 episode. McKenzie Westmore will host the special event and reunite the contestants, including the three finalists who will find out live if they garnered enough viewer votes to win the season.
