Being Human returns to Syfy for season three as part of Powerful Mondays on January 14th. The first episode arc holds some big shockers that will have you questioning what is planned for the show. These are definitely big twists fans won't be expecting. The best part of the new season though, confirmed by
Sam Witwer (Aidan) at the Syfy Digital Press Tour in October, is that the group will be together again more this season. It's time to welcome back your favorite roommates! Fans agree that the interaction between the main cast, including Witwer, Sam Huntington (Josh), and Meaghan Rath (Sally), is one of the best parts of the series. If the first two episodes are anything to go by, this season the show will be back on course and the characters where they belong, with their usual style of camaraderie and comedy. Speaking of main cast members, Kristen Hager, who plays Nora, will be joining the cast as a series regular this season.
When we last left our characters, Aidan was buried alive as punishment by vampire leader "Mother," Josh went to kill his werewolf "maker" Ray, but put Nora in jeopardy instead, and Sally was stuck in limbo after trying to save the friends she put there. All of it is about to be turned on its head. The Syfy series has definitely set itself apart from the British original this year. It's not really spoiling anything to say that our characters get out of their predicaments, but probably not quite in the way you would expect.
It's hard to really give many details without giving away spoilers, but what I can say, is that we will see a different side of the three roommates. We will see a much different Aidan this year; being buried will change him. Sally I feel gets to let lose more after she returns, but it may not be for the best; actions have consequences. As for Josh, be careful what you wish for.
If there was ever a time to watch
Being Human, it's now. The series has hit its stride and is back with a vengeance. Expect the unexpected and come on back for a wild ride.
