Franklin & Bash returns for its second season to TNT. The legal drama follows the lives of two smart young lawyers, Jared Franklin (Breckin Meyer) and Peter Bash (Mark-Paul Gosseleaar), who will do whatever it takes to win cases, even if it doesn't fit in with the legendary law firm they've become a part of. Their boss Stanton Infeld (Malcolm McDowell), lets them get a way with a lot, as long as they close cases, much to the annoyance of the other straight-laced employees.

This season, however, Franklin and Bash must take on more responsibility after being accused of misconduct, but must stay true to themselves, even if that might involve disagreeing with a client that Infeld wants them to sign.
The episode involves crazy antics, as usual, including a costume outfitted Gosselaar as well as a crazy water tank stunt.
I found myself laughing quite a bit at the premiere. Law shows are generally not my cup of tea, but Franklin and Bash bring loads of fun into the court room that makes it worth watching. I enjoyed the stunts they pulled in court, but also how they worked hard to get a fair end for someone who wasn't even their client.
There were also some great guest stars in the episode, including Martin Mull as the judge, and Kevin Nealon as the executive Franklin and Bash are trying to sign.
All in all the episode was a great start to the new season.
