For the second year in a row, Syfy brought
Alphas to San Diego for Comic-Con. SciFi Vision participated in the press roundtables with cast members Warren Christie, Laura Mennell, Erin Way (the newest addition to the
Alphas team), Executive Producer Bruce Miller, Co-Executive Producer/Writer Robert Hewitt Wolfe, and Co-Creator/Co-Executive Producer Michael Karnow. The
Alphas cast and crew reveal season two stories.

The
Alphas executive producers say that this season has a large scope and is following a huge mythology arch. Warren Christie, who plays
Alphas' Cameron, says season two,"Hit the ground running."
Alphas' Nina, Laura Mennell, and newest Alphas' team member, "Kat," played by Erin Way, both describe this season as epic. Christie and Mennell confirm that the romance between Cameron and Nina is over. Christie's character will get to explore his relationship with his son. Nina has an episode that looks back at her younger years and shows her first realization that she has an alpha's ability. Erin Way's character's alpha ability is to learn things instantly with muscle memory although it gets complicated because she has memory loss issues. Kat's introduction to the show is during an Alphas' fight club. Executive producer/writer, Robert Hewitt Wolfe, teases that an episode focusing on Gary (Ryan Cartwright)'s abilities with EMF may have him dealing with something unexplainable. It looks like season two is jam packed for the Alphas team.
Tune into the new season of
Alphas beginning on Monday, July 23rd on Syfy.
