By Jamie Ruby The new series Save Me follows the life of Beth Harper and her family after her near death experience. Beth, played by Anne Heche, was not a good mother, nor wife, until her life changed after almost choking on a sandwich in her kitchen, after a night of drinking. Suddenly she claimed she could hear the voice of God in her head telling her what to say and what to do. Her daughter and cheating husband were skeptical. Over the season, Beth will use her "gift" to attempt to make amends with others, whether they want her help or not. Heche recently talked to the media about her new comedy, which premieres Thursday, May 23rd on NBC.

By Jamie Ruby Many fans were surprised when contestant Angie Miller was voted off of American Idol last week. The Massachusetts native was unique in that she sang many of her of own original songs. The singer talked to reporters last week about coming in third on Idol and her plans for the future. The singer talked to SciFi Vision about the best advice she received while on Idol. "I think what really sticks out to me when I think of everything that they've said is that they didn't just appreciate like my voice or just me, whatever, but they appreciated just the artistry and the songwriting and knowing that I know who I am as a person. I love how they really appreciated that and they stressed that [it] was important to never lose your songwriting and who you are and what you stand for. I think that's what stuck out with me the most. It wasn't really a critique but it was just them saying, "Thank you for being that way, keep being that way," and that meant the world to me." Miller also told the site that she would love to get to perform an original song on tour, but doesn't know if she will be able to. "I don't know but I really, really hope so because that would be amazing."

The Indogene are the most scientifically and technologically advanced of the Votan races. The Indogene that appears most on Defiance is Doctor Meh Yewll, played by the talented actress Trenna Keating. Keating recently sat down with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview to talk about her work on the series. The actress is very grateful to be playing Yewll. "I was pretty lucky to get on Defiance, because there're a lot of casting directors, in fact most casting directors in town still don't know who I am, so the casting directors of Defiance have been really great to me."

By Christiane Elin So You Think You Can Dance returns for its tenth season with a special two-night premiere on Tuesday, May 14th and Wednesday, May 15th. Host Cat Deeley spoke with SciFiVision in a conference call about the new season. Cat shared that this year, "people are getting very, very creative with the different styles and their choices of music. They know now that we are in season ten, so we've seen people run up walls and do back flips. We've seen, you know, ten pirouettes all in one go, so they've got to do something that's a little big unique and normally that involves doing something with the music, so say putting a hip-hop routine to a classical piece of music or giving the dance a story. It's about their creativity." Not only has Cat seen that contestants are becoming more creative but she has seen more newbies try out for the show. Cat went on to say, "It means that within the dance community, we're still a relevant show. We're still a relevant part of their career process, which I think is brilliant." Check out season ten of So You Think You Can Dance Tuesday Nights on Fox.

The final four became the final three after Amber Holcomb received the least amount of votes (from two weeks) on this week's American Idol results show. After a very emotional night, Amber gave her final performance as an American Idol contestant. SciFi Vision spoke with Amber the day after the results show. On the call, Amber was in good spirits about her future after her Idol journey. For many American Idol viewers, the same question lingered about why she was so emotional on result's night. Amber took us through what was going inside her head after the results were read. Amber said when she watched the package video it really got to her. After the video she saw her dad crying and then it was time for her to sing. When singing she was thinking about going home. It was a lot to take in at that moment for the 18-year old. The judges unanimously believe that Amber should easily have a career after her time at American Idol. Amber said that, although she didn't win, she finds that she will be able to take this time to focus on herself. Amber is looking forward to what's next and would like to have you see her in all forms of media within the next 10 years.

By Karen Moul The supersized series finale of The Office airs this Thursday, May 16. The evening begins with a special one-hour retrospective, followed by the 75-minute final episode. "Months after the airing of the documentary," says the NBC's official press release, "the workers of Dunder Mifflin, past and present, gather for a wedding and a final round of interviews. Mysteries are solved, hatchets are buried, pranks are prunked." "We didn't start off with the documentary as the finale," Executive Producer Greg Daniels told reporters. "The plan was to air the documentary in Episode 17, and as we got closer and closer to that point the writers and I would have furious debates. "We thought it would be difficult to have a bunch of episodes after it had aired, and so we ended up pushing it off and off, and then it ended up being more close to the British show" on which the U.S. series is based."
