WILL ANTHONY HEAD MAKE WAREHOUSE 13 HIS OWN?

THREE-EPISODE GUEST STAR ARC BEGINS
MONDAY, JUNE 24 AT 10PM ON SYFY

NEW YORK – June 17, 2013 – Anthony Head (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Merlin) turns the tables on the Warehouse team with his deadly mastery of artifacts – leading to a shattering confrontation – when he guest stars as the Machiavellian alchemist Paracelsus on Syfy’s popular series Warehouse 13.

Head’s three-episode story arc begins Monday, June 24 at 10PM (ET/PT), culminating in the Season 4.5 finale on July 8.

In the episode, “Lost and Found,” Claudia (Allison Scagliotti) and Steve (Aaron Ashmore) get an intruder alert, which leads them to the shocking reveal that Paracelsus (Anthony Head) is alive and in the Warehouse. Meanwhile, Pete (Eddie McClintock), Myka (Joanne Kelly) and Artie (Saul Rubinek) hunt down artifacts stolen by pirates centuries ago. To find the cache, they team up with the mysterious Charlotte Dupres (Polly Walker) whose agenda puts all their lives in danger.

Interview with Lexa Doig for Continuum on May 24, 2013
Interview by Jamie Ruby

Lexa DoigRecently Continuum returned to Syfy for its second season. The series, created and executive produced by Simon Barry, follows Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a cop from 2077 who is trapped in present day after traveling back in time without her consent with a group of terrorists called Liber8, bent on changing things. One of the interesting things about the series is that the lines are often blurred as it seems Liber8 is trying to create a better and free future, though going about it in the wrong way.

One of the members of Liber8 is Sonya Valentine, played by Lexa Doig, who was left in charge after the death of their leader, Edouard Kagame (Tony Amendola). Originally a doctor as opposed to a soldier, she might have some new ideas about how to continue on. Regardless, she followed through on shooting Liber8 member and lover Travis Verta (Roger Cross), as one of Kagame's last requests. The shot, however, she came to find out, was not fatal.

Doig recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about this season.

warehouse_13_iconThe second half of the fourth season of Warehouse 13 has been perplexing.  The first half was devoted to a relatively strong overarching set of plot and character arcs, and there was every reason to believe the same would be true for the second segment of the season.  So why does it feel like there is no direction at all, with only four episodes to go before the season ends?

merlinIt is with great reluctance that I write this final review for Merlin. For most people, the show ended as soon as the credits roll, but it doesn’t really feel like it’s over for me until I’ve written this review. But the show really is over, although I have heard talk of a possible spin-off. I don’t quite know what to make of that, but I’ll speculate a bit more about that later. Right now, let’s talk about the finale itself. I’ll begin by comparing my expectations for the finale with the reality of it.

Tony Curran & Jaime MurrayThe series Defiance is about a town shared by both humans and aliens alike, while they try to learn to coexist. Two of the main protagonists of the story are Datak Tarr, played by Tony Curran, and his wife, Stahma, played by Jaime Murray. The Tarr family, including their son Alak, played by Jesse Rath, are of the Votan race called Castithans. Castithans have a strong caste system, at which, at least on Earth, Datak is now at the top of. As the series progresses, however, it seems that Stahma may be the more cunning of the two. Alak, however, does not share in their views of grandeur, and plans to wed the human girl, Cristie. His parents, unbeknownst to him, plan to use this to their advantage.

Curran and Murray recently talked to the digital media about their time working on the series, which airs Mondays on Syfy.
