Cast and Producers Announce Return of Popular Series During Debut Panel at San Diego Comic Con

SAN DIEGO, CA July 20, 2019 – Ahead of its season one finale, AMC today announced that it has renewed supernatural horror series “NOS4A2” for a 10-episode second season. The series, which is based on the best-selling 2013 Joe Hill novel of the same name, made its Comic-Con debut today in San Diego where cast members Zachary Quinto and Ashley Cummings, showrunner and executive producer Jami O’Brien and executive producer Joe Hill shared the news of the renewal during the show’s panel. For the current television season, “NOS4A2” ranks as a Top 20 cable drama and the #2 new basic cable drama among adults 25-54 and 18-49 in Nielsen Live +3 viewing. The second season of “NOS4A2” will go into production this fall and will air on AMC in 2020.

“NOS4A2” centers on Vic McQueen (Cummings), a gifted young woman who discovers she has a supernatural ability to find lost things. This ability puts her on a collision course with Charlie Manx (Quinto), a seductive immortal who feeds off the souls of children, then deposits what remains of them into Christmasland – an icy, twisted Christmas village of Manx’s imagination where every day is Christmas Day and unhappiness is against the law. Vic strives to defeat Manx and rescue his victims – without losing her mind or falling victim to him herself. The series also stars Jahkara Smith, Olafur Darri Olafsson, Virginia Kull and Ebon Moss-Bachrach.

San Diego Comic-Con International - ABC - The Rookie Panel - 7/19/19

ABC returned to the San Diego Comic-Con floor on Friday, July 19, with talent appearances from some of the network’s most popular and exciting new and returning series. "The Rookie" star Nathan Fillion and executive producer and writer Alexi Hawley sat down for an intimate panel conversation in anticipation of the Season 2 premiere of the hit drama on Sunday, September 29.

San Diego Comic-Con International - ABC - Emergence Panel, Press Room, Signing Booth, and More - 7/18/19 & 7/19/19

EMERGENCE cast and executive producers Allison Tolman, Alexa Swinton, Owain Yeoman, Ashley Aufderheide, Robert Bailey Jr., Zabryna Guevara, Donald Faison, Clancy Brown, Michele Fazekas and Tara Butters participated in a panel moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Sarah Rodman, where fans were treated to a first-look at the series pilot. EMERGENCE premieres Tuesday, September 24.

San Diego Comic-Con International - Disney - Ducktales Panel, Press Room, Signing Booth, and More - 7/19/19

Lin-Manuel Miranda (Gizmoduck/Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera) made a surprise appearance at the annual fan convention, joining stars Paget Brewster (Della Duck), Bobby Moynihan (Louie Duck), Ben Schwartz (Dewey Duck) and Kate Micucci (Webby Vanderquack), along with executive producer Matt Youngberg and co-producer/story editor Francisco Angones, for a panel moderated by Variety senior editor Michael Schneider.

New season two episodes of "DuckTales" will premiere September 2019 on Disney Channel and in DisneyNOW.
