Katie (Kelly MacDonald), the only single woman left on the small Scottish island of Hegg, lives a boring life with her sick mother. All that changes when the island is visited by famous movie star Lara Tyler (Alice Eve) and British author James Arber (David Tennant), as they come to the remote location after their first wedding attempt was botched by the paparazzi. The island was chosen because James previously described the castle where they would be married and the island in his novel - in gross exaggeration. Lara's assistants work feverishly to transform an entire castle to be perfect for the bride, as well as take precautions to keep the press at bay.
When it's apparent that the press cannot be so easily swayed, the assistants decide to find a decoy bride.

After appearing to bring some sense of cohesion to the season arc in the previous episode, the writers slip back into the quagmire of scattershot plotting for this installment. I struggled to find even the semblance of a direction in this episode, despite the fact that all of the various plot threads do advance to some degree. That lack of direction made it very hard to internalize the events that took place, because the importance of them was often too ephemeral.
Most people may recognize Brandy Norwood as a pop star, but she is also an actress in her own right. She is probably most known for her starring role in Moesha, but she has also appeared on television on series such as the new 90210 and The Game. She has appeared on the silver screen as well, in films such as I Still Know What You Did Last Summer and the upcoming The Marriage Counselor.
When I first received the DVD to review, I wasn't sure what to think with it's title, but don't let that deter you. In retrospect, the title actually fits the mood of the film.
Tonight, Syfy airs the last part of its month of Syfy Saturday original monster movies. The Asylum film, Bigfoot, stars Danny Bonaduce (The Partridge Family) and Barry Williams (The Brady Bunch) as professional rivals, fighting each other while trying not to be killed by Bigfoot. The two television legends recently talked to the media, including SciFi Vision, about the film.
From Clinton Administration officials in “The West Wing” to SNL staffers in “Studio 60”, Aaron Sorkin’s behind-the-scenes dramas have long inspired parlor games about who his characters are based on. I’ve never found the game particularly relevant, given the alternate Sorkin-verse he creates around them. However, the show that cleaved closest to our reality, and the most relevant predecessor to “The Newsroom”, was “Sports Night,” with Casey McCall and Dan Rydell seen as stand-ins for SportsCenter’s Dan Patrick and Keith Olbermann.
When the fifth season of USA Network's Burn Notice ended, Fiona Glennane, played by Gabrielle Anwar, had turned herself into the FBI on false terrorism charges to stop her boyfriend and formerly black-listed spy, Michael Westen (Jeffrey Donovan), from being blackmailed. He and the rest of the crew must try to deal with that as they try to find a way to rescue Fiona.
The New York Hawks have a new wide receiver this season. Gaius Charles has joined the cast of Necessary Roughness as Damon Razor, a rookie who – if he can get his personal issues in order – just might give franchise player TK a run for his money. 
FX's critically acclaimed comedy series, Louie, returns tonight for a third season. The creator of the show, Louis C.K., also serves as writer, director, and executive producer of the series in which he stars. The stand-up comedian plays a fictionalized version of himself on the series that focuses on his his life, his daughters, and of course his comedy.
Well, for better or for worse, "Eureka" has only four more episodes to go in its final season; and that includes the episode that SyFy ordered at the last minute to make up for cancelling (or "not ordering") the shortened sixth season. The fifth season should not have to bear the burden of being the last, and it's hard to imagine how a single episode could satisfyingly end a story that was originally planned to span six episodes. But this is what we're stuck with, so a certain amount of disappointment with this season was inevitable.
