During the Wizard World Convention in Pittsburgh earlier in the month, actor Eddie McClintock talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

As the site had previously talked to actor James Marsters, who played Professor Sutton on Warehouse 13, and asked him about working on the series and with McClintock, SciFi Vision also asked McClintock about his experience working with Marsters. "James is awesome. I was a fan before, so as soon as I got past the goofy fangirl squee of having him on the set, and we got down to business, he's just fun to be around, and if you've seen the character he played, the character's hilarious and over the top, and we just had a blast."

Thursday night, as part of the Wizard World Convention in Pittsburgh over the weekend, James Marsters sat down with SciFi Vision for an exclusive interview.

Although undoubtedly best known for his role as Spike in the television series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and its subsequent spinoff Angel, Marsters has also appeared in many other series and films since then. One of the more recent projects the actor appeared in was Warehouse 13, as Professor Sutton. He loved his time on set, and had great things to say about working with star Eddie McClintock and showrunner Jack Kenny. "Eddie is awesome. Eddie is much like his character: funny, self-deprecating, and hilarious, and he's also very intelligent and without ego, which is so important if you're in a creative field, to avoid ego. I'm always impressed with people who can go through fame and not succumb to ego, and I've noticed that artists who do succumb to ego don't really come up with a lot of interesting things.

On Thursday, as part of the Wizard World Convention in Pittsburgh, Lou Ferrigno, who's best known as television's The Hulk, talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

Recently Ferrigno had a fun guest spot in The Asylum film Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No!, which aired on Syfy over the summer. "I did a movie called Avengers Grimm with the same company, and then they were talking to me [about it], and you know, I love Sharknado. It's crazy, because you have tornadoes with sharks, because today the experiment is showing all kinds of crazy comedy stuff. They said, "Do you want to be in it?" I said, "Sure." They said they'd write something for me, so they had me be the secret service agent. It's kind of funny, but then you see the special effects afterwards. It's huge on Syfy; people just love it. I thought it was pretty hilarious."

Tonight Z Nation returns to Syfy for season two with all-new episodes. Recently, Keith Allan, who stars as Murphy, the only known survivor of the zombie virus, talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

Because of Citizen Z (DJ Quall)'s announcement, the world now knows of Murphy, who he is, and that he might hold the cure. This puts him in a position of power. He is also becoming stronger as time goes on. It allows him to some extent to do what he wants, but he still needs his friends. "Murphy is a child with a nuclear weapon. He's very powerful now and he knows it, and this is a guy who's been victimized, you know, for many years, probably including before the apocalypse started. He's probably the kid who got his ass kicked on the playground. And now all of a sudden he's in an extreme power position, and he's digging it.

Tomorrow, the series Z Nation returns to Syfy for its second season. The series takes place in a virus-caused zombie apocalypse and follows a group of survivors as they transport Murphy (Keith Allan), the only survivor of a zombie bite who did not turn, to a lab in California to try to save the human race.

In preparation, actress Pisay Pao, who stars as Cassandra, a member of the group transporting Murphy, recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about the series.

At the end of the first season, much of the group was separated. According to Pao, howevever, fans won't have to wait long before finding out where the characters are headed. "We really hit the ground running, and even though the group is separated at the end of episode thirteen...you're not going to have to wait long to figure out who's with who, you know, if they have found each other, and who has found each other, and where are they headed at this point. I think all of those questions get answered right away within the first two episodes."

Tonight Syfy airs an all-new episode of its series Dark Matter. The series, based on the graphic novel by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie, who also serve as executive producers on the series, follows the crew of a derelict spacecraft, the Raza, who have awakened from stasis with no memory of who they are or how they got on board. The six crew members have started to unravel their pasts, which include learning they were all criminals, but much is still a mystery to them as they continue to move ahead to a future of their choosing.

Recently star Anthony Lemke, who plays Three, talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about who his character really is and what fans can expect from the rest of the season.

Shooting the show itself was easier than most projects, because a lot of the cast and crew had already worked together before. "I would say that it was an easy shoot in a lot of ways. The folks who we were shooting with, a lot of them had shot together for five years on Lost Girl, and so we benefitted from that sort of family aspect.

Tonight, Syfy airs an all-new episode of its new series, Dark Matter. The series follows the crew of a derelict space craft, who awaken from stasis with no memories to their identities or what they are doing on the ship, the Raza. The series is based on the Dark Horse comic book series of the same name. Both the comic series and the television series were created by Joseph Mallozzi and Paul Mullie.

Mallozzi recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about the new space opera.

The producer talked about how the concept of Dark Matter started. "I actually started developing the show way back, I want to say, almost eight years ago, when I was working on Stargate Atlantis, with the idea that once Stargate ended, we would roll right into Dark Matter, except [there was], I hesitate to say, the classic problem, but Stargate kept getting picked up. Every year I'd have to shelve Dark Matter. But the great thing is, you know, because I would have to put it off, I was able to just keep creating the backstories and the detail."

In November, SciFI Vision was able to take visit the set of Killjoys. Three of the actors did roundtable interviews with Jamie Ruby and Karen Moul of SciFi Vision and two other journalists.

One actor was Aaron Ashmore, who plays the character of John Jaqobis.

The series follows a group of intergalactic bounty hunters called Killjoys, who are hired by the Company as independent contractors for the RAC (Reclamation Apprehension Coalition) who hold no allegiance to any government. They abide by only one law: The Warrant is All.

Ashmore explained a bit to journalists about how the Killjoys work within the system of the law. "We work for the system, and it's sort of set up that it's the Company that we basically get our warrants through. So it is kind of interesting; there is sort of an element to things where we do what we want. We go about fulfilling these bounties for the most part however we want. If we have to break the rules and all that, we do, but there is still sometimes a structure where we are forced to do things by this Company, based on all sorts of different things. And you can't really say no; you work for them, and they sort of have at the end of the day total control. So there are elements where we're left to our own devices, and we can do whatever we want, and we do sort of break the rules, but at the end of the day we do work for somebody. We do have bosses, and we are accountable to them."

Early in November, SciFi Vision was lucky enough to get a visit to the Syfy set of the upcoming series Killjoys.

Before touring the set, myself and another member of the staff, along with two other journalists, sat in a production office and had roundtable interviews with the series three stars: Aaron Ashmore, Hannah John-Kamen, and Luke Macfarlane (coming soon), and learned a bit more about the show.

In the future, in a galaxy on the verge of interplanetary war, bounty hunters called Killjoys are hired by the Company as independent and non-bias mercenaries to pursue warrants across the Quad, which consists of the planet Qresh and its colonized moons: Westerley, Leith, and Arkyn. Killjoys hold no allegiance and follow only one code, "The Warrant is All."

Westerley, which is where the main characters, a trio of Killjoys, dock their ship, Lucy (voiced by Tamsen McDonough), is more industrial and lower class, whereas Leith is more developed and more of a middle class society.

Last week, Syfy premiered season three of its hit series, Defiance, and within it were quite a few big shocks, including the death of Christie McCawley, played by the talented actress, Nicole Muñoz, who recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

In the season premiere, after hiding her baby in the closet, Christie watched tragedy unfold as she witnessed both her brother, Quentin (Justin Rain), and her father, Rafe (Graham Greene), get murdered right in front of her. Soon after, her stepmother, Stahma Tarr (Jaime Murray), slit her throat.

The actress found out about her character’s death months in advance, and she understood it. "It was a couple months prior. I don't remember exactly when, but I had a lot of notice. Kevin Murphy called me and was really nice about it. He related the message really clearly and talked about why and what Christie's storyline is, and how she's dying for the baby, and that it's a very important story to tell, and it helps propel Stahma's story forward.
