ABC Family’s newest hit to their lineup, Jane By Design, is adding some new talent to the list of hot young stars to be on the lookout for. One of those stars is Matt Atkinson, who plays Nick Fadden, a young jock love interest for Jane.

Matt discusses some of the role’s challenges, changes, and how happy he is with the show so far. He tells as much as he can about the new season that is getting ready to air this June.

On June 1st, FOX held a conference call with celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay, inviting news outlets to ask questions regarding the new seasons of Hell’s Kitchen and Master Chef. Doing well after suffering a back injury at a charity soccer event two days prior, Ramsay called in with an elegant and gracious attitude.

Questions were varied but fun, with outlets asking Ramsay things like whether the experienced chefs of Hell’s Kitchen or the amateur cooks of Master Chef frustrated him more. “Master Chef gives me…I suppose mentoring aspects and then Hell’s Kitchen always reminds me of the first day when I opened my very first restaurant…when the air conditioning went down and every customer was complaining about how hot it was, the food was taking too long to come out of the kitchen, and then I caught a maitre d’ – a maitre d’…walking past a customer swigging out of a bottle of water. I flipped my lid.” An amused Ramsay responded before adding, “Both of them have different identities; two completely different chefs, one amateur, and one professional, so I’m very lucky to have both.”

If you’re looking for a good scare this summer, check out The Pact, the first feature-length film from writer/director Nicolas McCarthy. Based on McCarthy’s short film of the same name, The Pact takes the classic haunted house story and gives it a dark twist.

Caity Lotz stars as Annie, a young woman who has spent most of her life trying to forget an unhappy childhood. Summoned home, Annie arrives to find that her older sister has gone missing.

“She has basically been avoiding her past,” explains Lotz. “That’s been the goal of her life and now all of a sudden she has to go home to deal with [the death of her abusive mother].

“Once she gets home, things start getting really weird and her sister disappears. And all of a sudden there’s a ghost in her childhood home - who she thinks is her mom - and she tries to find her sister and figure out what happened.”

And that is when things take a very sinister turn. What might at first seem like standard fare – psychic, Ouija board, bumps in the night – soon gives way to a visually compelling, psychological thriller.

Tonight the highly anticipated fifth season of True Blood will premiere on HBO. The series, which boasts a blend of romance, suspense, mystery, and humor, takes place
in a world where vampires can survive on synthetic blood and have "come out of the coffin," so to speak, to live alongside humans.

This season the show welcomes some new faces, including Carolyn Hennesy as Texan Vampire Authority member Rosalyn Harris.

Hennesy, who many fans will know from shows such as General Hospital and Cougar Town, recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview to talk about her new role.

Tonight NBC will premiere one of its new series, Saving Hope. In the series, Chief of Surgery Charlie Harris (Michael Shanks), who works at Hope-Zion Hospital with his fiancée and fellow surgeon, Alex Reid, played by Erica Durance, enters a coma after being in an accident.

While Reid races to save her fiancée's life, though comatose, Harris is "awake" and explores the hospital in "spirit" form, not sure if he is dead, a ghost, or a figment of his imagination.

Reid and the medical team, including new surgeon Joel Goran (Daniel Gilles) continue to try to save Harris as well as other patients. Dealing with the difficult decisions of the field, they struggle to keep alive hope.

Erica Durance, who is probably best known to fans as Lois Lane on Smallville, recently talked to the digital media about the new series and a bit about what we can expect to see in the coming episodes.

Tomorrow, Fox will premiere it's new reality series, Take Me Out, hosted by George Lopez. The new dating show, based on the international version, features thirty single woman, who will see several bachelors who one by one will try to make their best first impressions. The show consists of four rounds. The women will listen to the men and if they decide they are uninterested, turn their light out, which could result in a blackout. Then the bachelor will turn the women's lights off who he is not interested in, until he is down to two. He will then ask a final question and make his choice. The couple will be sent on a romantic fantasy date and report back after. Another woman is added to the twenty-nine and the group will continue to stay throughout the series, trying to find "Mr. Right."

The actor and comedian talked to the digital media about the new dating show and how the series is unique.

One of The Hub's newest series, Kaijudo: Rise of the Duel Masters, premiered this weekend. The new original animated series is a re-imagination of the Wizards of the Coast trading card game, Duel Masters.

The series follows the adventures of Ray, voiced by Scott Wolf, a fourteen year-old with the ability to tame and duel alongside fantastical creatures that come from a parallel universe. He is helped by his friends Allie (Kari Wahlgren) and Gabe (Phil LaMarr) to stop the evil forces, the Choten, that seek to capture and enslave the creatures, as well as to maintain the crumbling veil between the worlds and keep the creatures from Earth. To do so they must master the art of Kaijudo.

The new series also features multi-platform entertainment for the whole family, including an online game and a trading card game.

With his nearly 38 years of studying and investigating the paranormal, John Zaffis aka "The Godfather of the Paranormal" is back leading the team in season two of Haunted Collector. The Haunted Collector team has expanded, adding new team members, Jesslyn Brown and Jason Gates, to help clients with their unexplained activity.

Season two will include more investigating and experimenting to test if an object is causing paranormal disturbances. When a haunted item is found to be the source of the disturbance, it is removed and stored into John's Museum of the Paranormal located in a barn on his property. Tune into Syfy on Wednesdays 9/8c, starting tonight, to see what John adds to his Museum of the Paranormal this season.

When a lot of us were little girls, it was often a good night of television when you could sit down and watch The Miss USA Pageant. All the beautiful young ladies with graceful elegance in their evening gowns and their confidence as they walked the stage in their bathing suits, showing off different talents to show off a well rounded sophistication. It filled the evening with dreams of one day becoming one of the Miss USA winners. You got to meet them a little when the finalists answered questions on events of the world.

Looking back on that, I now realize how hard it must be to be a judge and pick a suitable winner in the short time that they get to evaluate the contestants - the importance of picking a young woman to take the title of Miss USA and do justice to the long line of pageant winners.

What was once thought of as just a beauty pageant has turned more and more to young women bringing attention to more important causes and making people aware of issues that should be brought to light.
