Heist-Drama Series Leverage: Redemption Will Make Its Season Three Debut on Prime Video 

The fan-favorite series, produced by Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, brings John Rogers on as showrunner and executive producer 

CULVER CITY, California—December 5, 2023—Amazon MGM Studios has renewed the popular heist-drama series Leverage: Redemption for a third season. Season Three will premiere on Prime Video next year in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Produced by Electric Entertainment, Leverage: Redemption follows a Robin Hood-esque team of criminals as they stage elaborate cons against corrupt and powerful individuals on behalf of clients who have been wronged. 

Previous seasons of Leverage: Redemption, starring Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Aldis Hodge, Noah Wyle, and Aleyse Shannon, are available to stream in the U.S. and U.K. on Amazon Freevee. The original Leverage series, the prequel to Leverage: Redemption, is currently available on Freevee via Electric Entertainment’s FAST Channel and on-demand.

NEW YORK, NY – October 12, 2023 – Melissa McBride is set to reprise her fan-favorite role as “Carol Peletier” as a series regular in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which was announced at New York Comic Con earlier today.  McBride first played “Carol” in The Walking Dead flagship series for eleven seasons alongside Norman Reedus, who stars as “Daryl Dixon” in the spin-off series set in France.  The news of McBride’s return to the Walking Dead Universe comes just ahead of the show’s Season One finale on Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+, in which she makes an appearance. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been a ratings success on AMC+ and AMC to become the most-viewed premiere in the history of AMC+ and is pacing to be the most-viewed single series of any show ever on the platform.  On AMC, Daryl is a top 15 cable drama for 2023 to date in adults 25-54, joining other AMC series The Walking Dead: Dead City, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Fear the Walking Dead and Dark Winds in that category.

AMC Networks returned to New York Comic Con this afternoon with a panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, along with an early screening of the series’ Season One finale prior to its premiere this Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+.
 
The panel, moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, kicked off with an exclusive look at some of AMC Networks’ anticipated series in 2024, including The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire Season Two and Orphan Black: Echoes.

MGM+ Renews Sci-Fi Horror Series FROM for Season Three

Created by John Griffin and executive produced by Griffin and Lost alums Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender, the series will return in 2024

BEVERLY HILLS, California—June 29, 2023—MGM+, a premium linear channel and streaming service, announced today that the contemporary sci-fi horror series FROM has been renewed for a 10-episode third season. Created and executive produced by John Griffin (Crater) and executive produced by showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe), and director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones), the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. In the wake of Season Two’s epic cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them. The series is set to return in 2024. 

FROM is the second-most viewed series in the history of the premium network, behind the Emmy winning Godfather of Harlem, starring Forest Whitaker and co-created by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein (Narcos).

Peacock’s The Calling from David E. Kelley Releases Official Trailer + Show Art

The Calling tells the story of NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham, whose belief in mankind is his superpower when it comes to uncovering the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down. 

The series from prolific showrunner, writer and executive producer David E. Kelley (Big Little Lies, The Undoing), Academy Award Winning director Barry Levinson (Rain Man), and co-composed by Hans Zimmer and Steve Mazzaro will have you hooked on the suspenseful and unpredictable storyline as it’s unlike other investigative dramas out there - following a detective with a provocatively human approach to crime. NEW YORK – April 6, 2022 –  AMC Networks today announced that it had greenlit Orphan Black: Echoes, a long-awaited new series set in the world of the landmark series Orphan Black, to appear on AMC+ and the company’s linear networks in 2023. Produced and distributed globally by Boat Rocker, the company behind the original series, Orphan Black: Echoes will have a 10-episode first season. Anna Fishko (Pieces of Her, The Society, Fear the Walking Dead) is creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer with John Fawcett, the co-creator of the original series who also directed 17 episodes across all five seasons, on as director and executive producer. David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, executive producers from Boat Rocker on the original Orphan Black series, return as executive producers on the new series. Katie O’Connell Marsh, Nick Nantell, and Kerry Appleyard will also executive produce for Boat Rocker.

Series Premiering in 2023 Will Follow Popular Maggie and Negan Characters to a Post-Apocalyptic Manhattan

NEW YORK – March 7, 2022 – AMC Networks today announced that it has greenlit a new series set in The Walking Dead Universe, starring Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.  Isle of the Dead envisions the popular Maggie and Negan characters traveling into a post-apocalyptic Manhattan long ago cut off from the mainland.  The crumbling city is filled with the dead and denizens who have made New York City their own world full of anarchy, danger, beauty, and terror.  Set to premiere on AMC+ and AMC in 2023, the first season will consist of six episodes.  Eli Jorné, who has been a writer and co-executive producer on The Walking Dead for multiple seasons and has an overall deal with AMC Studios, will serve as showrunner and executive producer on the series, which is overseen by Scott M. Gimple, chief content officer of The Walking Dead Universe.  Cohan and Morgan will also serve as executive producers.
