Anchor Bay Entertainment proudly releases the AMC original series THE WALKING DEAD: THE COMPLETE SECOND SEASON on August 28?th, with an SRP of $69.99 for the Blu-ray™, and $59.98 for the DVD. Alphas recently returned to Syfy for its second season. One of the stars of the series is Malik Yoba, who plays Bill Harken, a former FBI agent who is a hyperadrenal Alpha. Harken has the temporary ability of super strength by activating his "fight or flight" response by flooding his system with adrenaline. Of course there is a downside - using it too long could cause a heart attack.

Yoba recently talked to the press about his role on Alphas, including his interactions with Gary (Ryan Cartwright), the newest Alpha Kat (Erin Way), and other members of the team. Alphas airs Monday nights on Syfy.

James Wolk, who has previously appeared on television in series such as Lone Star, Shameless, and Happy Endings, plays the part of Douglas Hammond on Political Animals. Douglas is the son of Secretary of State (Sigourney Weaver) and former president of the United States (Ciarán Hinds). He works as his mother's Chief of Staff and tries to balance the politics with his own personal life, while also trying to help his twin brother keep it together.

Wolk recently talked to the digital press about his new role.

Mary McDonnell is probably best known for her role as President Laura Roslin on the Syfy remake of Battlestar Galactica. She, however, has appeared in various films in the past such as Independence Day and Donnie Darko, and on television in series such as ER and Grey's Anatomy, and of course in the role of Captain Sharon Raydor in The Closer.

As The Closer ends, the new spinoff series, Major Crimes, starring McDonnell as the same character, begins, starting August 13.

McDonnell recently talked to the digital press about her new series.

Most fans probably know Jean-Luc Bilodeau from his role as Josh Trager on Kyle XY. Bilodeau currently stars in his own new series on ABC Family, Baby Daddy.

In Baby Daddy, Bilodeau plays Ben, a young bachelor in his early 20s, living with his friend (Tahj Mowry) in New York City, when he is suddenly left with a baby girl on his doorstep by his ex-girlfriend. Ben, with the help of his family and mother decides to raise her.

Bilodeau talked to the digital media recently about his new series.

Last Thursday's episode of Burn Notice caused quite the uproar among fans. The episode had a lot going on: by the end of the episode, the problem with Anson Fullerton (Jere Burns) was over, but at a price. The mystery person who killed Anson took Michael (Jeffrey Donovan)'s brother Nate (Seth Peterson) with him.

This turn of events is big for the series, and now that the people responsible for burning Michael have been taken care of, the series will see a shift in the story, which will continue to become more serialized and less "case of the week."

Last week the creator and executive producer of Burn Notice, Matt Nix, talked to the digital media about the decision to kill Nate and other changes coming this season.

As season three of Covert Affairs unfolds, fans are noticing a faster pace and higher stakes for CIA agent Annie Walker (Piper Perabo). Series co-creators Matt Ord and Chris Corman recently told Scifi Vision that they “made a conscious choice to amp up the stakes this season.”

“We really see this season [as] Annie’s teenage years of the CIA,” said Ord, “and with [that] comes everything that comes with teenage years be it more questions, more passion, and along with that is greater stakes.”

“She’s starting to want, crave and experience more independence,” added Corman. “I think she is yearning for a little more autonomy and she’s getting it. “But like everything you want when you’re a teenager, it’s a two-edged sword, and what you want may not necessarily be what you need.”
