Bobby Flay is well known in the food world, and for most is a household name. He not only owns multiple restaurants around the country, has appeared on many shows, and published multiple books, but he has also had quite a few of his own cooking shows, and hosted many as well. He is probably at the moment best known for his series Throwdown with Bobby Flay and as one of the Iron Chefs. He also recently hosted The Next Food Network Star, which will enter its seventh season this June. He even guest starred on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Anyone who has watched Syfy in recent years already knows who Amanda Tapping and Robin Dunne are. Stars of Syfy's Sanctuary, Tapping, probably best known for her work in Stargate: SG-1 and more recently Syfy's web series Riese, and Dunne, who fans should recognize from his lead role in Syfy's Beyond Sherwood Forest, sat down with the digital media last week to talk about the series. As of Friday, Sanctuary premiered the second half of its third season. The series has already been renewed four a fourth season, for which the cast has already begun table reads.
Joe Flanigan has appeared in both film and television, but he is probably best known for his work on television, most notbably for his character of Lt. Colonel John Sheppard on Syfy's Stargate: Atlantis, for which he also served as writer on for two episodes.
I haven't consistently watched wrestling for quite a few years, but that doesn't mean I've forgotten who the Rattlesnake is. Six-time WWE Champion, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, is hosting the latest installment of USA Network's WWE Tough Enough, the first since 2004. In this reality series, contestants will compete to become the new WWE superstar. I for one think Austin is a perfect choice, because when talking about being tough enough, Austin is one of the toughest S.O.B.s you'll ever meet. Just ask him, he'll tell you.
If you watch science fiction or horror, it's a good bet you know who Lance Henriksen is. He has appeared in well over 150 films, in a variety of genres, but is probably best known for his roles in science fiction, in film most notably for his role as Bishop in Alien. Some other well known movies he has worked on include The Terminator, Pumpkinhead, Scream 3, and AVP: Alien vs. Predator, just to name a few. His name is also well known in television. He is probably most known for his role as Frank Black in Chris Carter's series Millennium (and subsequently in an episode of The X-Files), but has appeared in many other series as well, including the popular series NCIS and Castle.
The team of Syfy's Fact or Faked: Paranormal Files returns this week for the season premiere. Former FBI agent Ben Hansen returns as team leader, as does lead scientist Bill Murphy, journalist Jael de Pardo, photography expert Chi-Lan Lieu, and stunt expert Austin Porter. Joining the team for the first time is the newest member and tech expert Devin Marble. Together they review and investigate videos of paranormal and unexplained phenomena, to prove whether they are fact or faked.
