A new show from Joss Whedon will always be a big deal, let alone a spin-off from one of the juggernauts of the superhero genre and one of the highest-grossing films of all time. Expectations are naturally high, but a show like “Agents of SHIELD” was never going to succeed if it tried its best to emulate The Avengers or Iron Man, and in the pilot episode, it wisely doesn’t try. Instead, the Whedon clan have set out to create a different kind of experience: low-key, episodic, grounded in ordinary characters struggling against extraordinary situations, whilst still having the hallmarks of the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

This season of Syfy's Haven introduced some new characters, one being that of William, played by Colin Ferguson. It's not clear as of yet what he has in store for Audrey, played by Emily Rose, who is now essentially Lexi and has no memory of her previous life after having entered the barn at the end of last season. One thing is clear; however, William knows a lot about Audrey, and not everyone wants him to share that information with her.

Ferguson talked to SciFi Vision about what fans will learn about William moving forward, during a press conference with Rose and the digital media. "We are going to find that history about who William is and what their relationship was. How much history we can't really say, although I think I can't say that it's not going to be left completely up in the air. As the season...progresses, you find out sort of the problems and strengths of their relationship and you find out if it's going to be an addition or subtraction to the town. So that stuff definitely plays out.

Katey Sagal is most popularly known as the wise cracking red head Peg Bundy on the hit show Married with Children. Sagal has had memorable guest appearances on series such as on Lost, as Helen, the love interest for John Locke. She can now be seen as the no nonsense matriarch on Sons of Anarchy as Gemma Teller Morrow. Recently Sagal answered some questions in a conference call.

SciFi Vision recently attended the Fan Expo in Toronto, Canada and got some great press room interview and exclusive photos and videos from the press rooms and The Walking Dead panel (coming soon). The press rooms SciFi Vision attended include ones for Lost Girl, Helix, Defiance, and Warehouse 13, with more to come as time permits. Here's a roundup of what's posted so far.

It’s supremely difficult to start a mythology-based series in this day and age. Broadcast networks are falling further behind cable channels in the airing of long-form serialized prestige dramas. Each new season brings on new dramas that network executives hope will stick onto the wall for a long time. I don’t know if Sleepy Hollow is one of those shows that will stick around for a full season, but judging from the pilot episode, it’s not going to be a boring ride. It’s weird and non-sensical and ridiculous, but that’s part of the fun.

Last night, the hit drama Bones returned to FOX for an all new season nine. The series picked up where it left off last season, with the wedding between Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) postponed because of Pelant's (Andrew Leeds) threat, with Brennan in the dark.

This season will bring new cases and new struggles, as well as tie up some of the loose ends, according to creator and executive producer Hart Hanson and executive producer Stephen Nathan, who talked to the press last week.

Hanson told SciFi Vision about the return of Pelant, "Pelant will definitely figure in their lives quite heavily in the first few episodes. We will see him again. We'll see him in a way we haven't before. It'll be a far more intense episode and it'll be them confronting him in a way we haven't seen before."
