Recently, more crossover elements were added from the flagship series to The Walking Dead: World Beyond, when the character of Jadis, played by Pollyanna McIntosh, was revealed to be working as an officer of the Civil Republic. Jadis, also known as Anne on The Walking Dead, was the leader of the Scavengers that took a wounded Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) away on a CRM helicopter never to be seen again.

Still, not a lot is known about the character and her agenda. According to McIntosh, who talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview on Friday, she does believe in the cause “for the good of humanity,” but Jadis still does what is best for Jadis. “At the end of the day,” said the actress, “we've seen that before, but she does have feelings, and she does really, really want the best that civilization can have…She's seen the world much more than most people in this new universe of The Walking Dead: World Beyond have seen it…She's now like, ‘This is my new purpose.’ This is what what she wants for the world. So, I do believe it's for the greater good, but are some people are going to have to suffer in the meantime? Sure. And is she going to try and make sure she suffers as little as possible? Sure.”

Fans were surprised that Jadis took the last name Stokes, which comes from the character of Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam), a priest on The Walking Dead that she had a romantic relationship with. The actress said that the idea of Jadis being Mrs. Stokes is a really funny nod to the fan base. “It's just fun for the fandom to go, ‘Oh, did you notice that that's her name?’…[T]he reasons why, people can make their own. I think there's just enough for people to go their own ways with things, and then they might find they were right, or they were wrong and there's something more exciting afoot. But I think that the nod to Gabriel really is such a genius thing. It's like, ‘I'm not going to give away my own name, and I'm going to remember my past and honor it, but I'm also going to remember that, that way madness lies.’ ”

On the newest episode of Fear the Walking Dead, Sarah, played by Mo Collins, wakes up at a decommissioned fort where she and the others were brought by the helicopter, and she immediately takes off to look for her brother, Wendell (Daryl “Chill” Mitchell). She ends up running into Josiah (Demetrius Grosse), who wants revenge on Morgan (Lennie James) for killing his twin brother. Sarah agrees to deliver Morgan to him, if he will help her find her own brother.

Collins, who recently spoke to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, doesn’t believe that Sarah ever planned to let him kill Morgan. “Sarah is a very loyal person,” said that actress, “and [what] Sarah also knows and understands about this world is that things can change on a dime. So, in that moment, of course, it was the right choice to say that and do that, because it was about Wendell. That's the objective, and if that's what needs to happen to get to Wendell, that's what's going to happen, but I do believe in the back of her brain, she's going, ‘Shit could change.’”

The actress has a special bond with Mitchell outside of the show. “What you see in Sarah and Wendell is true of Chill and Mo. It just sort of landed that way, the second we met. We really, really do love each other, and we laugh our butts off. We'll cry together. We'll have deep, deep conversations. It's a pretty deep and wonderful relationship…He is my brother for life.”

In season two of Locke & Key, Duncan, played by Aaron Ashmore, has his memories of magic returned to him, which include the ability to forge keys, which is what the antagonist of the season, Gabe/Dutch (Griffin Gluck), wants most.

This season, viewers get a lot more of Duncan’s story, including his relationship with Brian (Milton Barnes), explained Ashmore in an exclusive interview with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision. “We sort of alluded to the fact that Duncan was in a relationship, or sort of mentioned that, but we never really got to see too much of his backstory. So, I think that's really nice that we get to see some of his romantic interest.”

A big part of Duncan’s story this season is when his memories are returned. “I think we just lay into a little bit more throughout the second season, of where Duncan's coming from exactly, the whole memory loss element, because it's not so much that he just can't remember magic, like the rest of the adults; there's another element to it, where pieces of his past have been removed. He's struggling not only with that, but also this idea of potentially seeing these magic things, and then that being erased.”

When we last left them, June, played by Jenna Elfman and her father-in-law, John Dorie Sr. (Keith Carradine), had gone underground into the bunker left by Teddy (John Glover) to get away from the nuclear blast. This week’s episode sees the characters having to learn to live together and make decisions as one. Things, however, don’t go quite as expected when after John uses the radio, some dangerous people start trying to get into the bunker. To make matters worse, John, who is an alcoholic, is going through withdrawal and starts hallucinating Teddy’s murder victim, who it always haunted him he was never able to find.

The bunker in which the two filmed the episode, was based on a real-life bunker and was made out of real school buses Elfman told Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, and it made for a great claustrophobic scene. “They didn't chop off the end of the school bus and have it be open or anything for crew; we had to actually go through the door of the school bus to go in and out. So, it was super stuffy and claustrophobic and encroaching in that way, which, as an actor, you're like, ‘Yes, this is good!’ You'll take all the help you can get environmentally. So, that was awesome. I think our production designer did such a great job making use of that.”

Recently on The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Percy, played by Ted Sutherland, put the group in jeopardy when he tried to kill Huck (Annet Mahendru) in revenge for her killing his uncle, but he was stopped in time by Will (Jelani Alladin). On tonight’s all new episode, when the plan is put into motion for Iris (Aliyah Royale) and Felix (Nico Tortorella) to pretend to get captured so that they will be taken to the CRM facility where Iris’s sister, Hope (Alexa Mansour), and father (Joe Holt) are currently staying, Percy joins them at the last minute, taking Elton (Nicholas Cantu)’s coat, pretending to be him.

According to Sutherland, who talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, Percy is getting closer to Iris this season, but he’s still figuring things out. “I think he's finding himself…We're picking up right from where last season left off. So, all of the emotions are still very, very raw. And it's not like Percy is, or anyone is, a fully formed individual. He doesn't have his emotions figured out. He's not completely mature, but it's kind of his journey of becoming an adult, of maturing. I think he's figuring out all of his emotions, and love is one of them. And it's very complicated, especially when you don't trust, and you're not willing to be vulnerable.”

In tonight’s episode of Fear the Walking Dead, “Cindy Hawkins,” June (Jenna Elfman) is holed up in Teddy (John Glover)’s bunker with John Dory, Sr., who turns out to be a really bad roommate. John breaks all the rules he and June have agreed to and, as his hallucinations escalate, eventually leaves her pinned under a cave-in with dangerous strangers closing in.

“I don't believe that he intentionally wants to endanger anyone,” explained actor Keith Carradine in an exclusive interview with SciFi Vision. “I think that he cannot help himself at this point. He just can't stop himself. I think that that most addicts will tell you that when they are deep into an addiction, that's what it becomes for them. It's out of their control.

“…He's putting them both at risk as a result of his compulsive, impulsive behaviors, and his inability to resist the drive in him to get the answers to these things,” he continued, “I think that that is what's putting them both at risk…Their ability to get through it and the circumstances that just by pure luck enable him to survive, I think in the end he's a different person because of that.”

Opening in theaters in Los Angeles and New York today and nationally on November 5th, Violet, written and directed by Justine Bateman, follows the title character played by Olivia Munn. Violet spends her days making fear-based decisions by listening to self-criticisms and self-doubts (voiced by Justin Theroux) and misses out on the things she wants in life rather than living free like her friend Red (Luke Bracey). It isn’t until Violet realizes she has to ignore the lies she tells herself and face her fears head on that she can do things differently and live the professional, personal, and romantic life that she really wants.

According to Bateman, who talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, she named the characters Violet and Red, because they represent opposites, although she didn’t realize it when she first wrote it. “When you look at the light spectrum, the visual light spectrum for humans, you've got red on one end and purple on the other…Red’s the polar opposite, as far as how he lives his life. So, she has to go across the spectrum to get to where she needs to by the end.”

At the site of the La Brea Tar Pits in LA, when a massive sinkhole opens up, Izzy, played by Zyra Gorecki, and her father (Eoin Macken) are separated from her family when her brother (Jack Martin) and mother (Natalie Zea) fall into the hole and are transported to prehistoric times. La Brea actress Gorecki recently chatted with Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive video interview about her time on the series.

Gorecki was only seventeen when she first found out about the role when producers contacted Camp No Limits looking to cast a girl with an amputation, but she knew right away she wanted the role. The actress said she couldn’t believe it when she got the part. “My brain has no concept of the magnitude of things. I got the role, and I was like, ‘It's not real.’ ”

The actress admires her character’s vulnerabilities. “I think Izzy is traits that I wish I had. She has this really special ability to be vulnerable, and that's a really, really hard thing to do.”

My Life is Murder stars Lucy Lawless as retired detective Alexa Crowe, who returns to New Zealand in season two. She is joined by tech genius, Madison Feliciano (Ebony Vagulans), as she works to solve mysterious murder cases given to her by Detective Harry Hanare (Rawiri Jobe).

In the season finale, streaming tomorrow on Acorn TV, when a self-help guru is killed, Alexa and Madison go undercover and find themselves pitted against the victim’s wife, Clarissa Klein, played by Renee O’Connor.

The episode serves as a reunion of sorts that Xena: Warrior Princess fans have been waiting for, reconnecting Lawless, who played the iconic starring role on the fantasy series that gained a cult following, and O’Connor, who played the role of Gabrielle.

The two actresses recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview on Zoom about reuniting for the series, where Lawless teased about O’Connor’s role as the cult leader saying that she could be the bad guy or “the good guy in disguise.”

O’Connor jumped at the chance to reunite for the series, which returned for the second season to New Zealand because of COVID; it was a happy surprise. “[Lucy] sort of mentioned it. Honestly, I didn't think that it was anything that would be truly possible, to pick up and just go to New Zealand. Then, when the quarantine came up…it just seemed highly unlikely, but Lucy's company, a few of the people there, just didn't give up. They just kept trying to figure out how it could possibly happen, and the next thing I knew, I was flying to New Zealand.”

In tonight’s episode of The Walking Dead: World Beyond, Jennifer and Dennis both struggled to adjust to their new assignments in the CRM. As Jennifer begins to open her eyes to the mother’s actions, will Dennis also have second thoughts? Or is he a true believer?

“I think Dennis is genuine in what he believes,” actor Maximilian Osinski (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) told SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview, “and what he thinks he's doing for the good of the world. I think his journey, like [with] a lot of the other characters on the show, everyone's realizing the world isn't as black and white as they'd like to think and has gray areas.”

Although Dennis has been demoted, he still believes in the Civic Republic. “I don't think he's lying, or I don't think he's manipulating or just saying things to please other people,” Osinski continued.

“I think he's a good man who's made some mistakes and who's flawed like everyone else and now is paying the price. And look at the way he's paying the price. He's still doing a job that in his mind is beneath him, but he's doing it with the sense of helping people younger than him move up and find meaning in his life. So, I think that tells me he's a very genuine man and his intentions are genuine and pure.”
