Today The Osiris Child: Science Fiction Volume One, directed by Shane Abbess, comes to theaters, on VOD and Digital HD. After a prison break that leads to a virus threatening everyone on a newly colonize planet, Lt Kane Somerville (Daniel MacPherson) defies his commander and takes off from his station to go down to the planet to save his young daughter (Teagan Croft) before the planet is destroyed.

Down on the planet, Kane runs into prison escapee Sy, played by Kellan Lutz, who agrees to help him save his daughter. It's a race against the clock to complete their mission and get some place safe.

Recently, Lutz talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his work on the film.

Today the official trailer for the sci-fi film REALIVE was released by Syfy Films.

REALIVE was written and directed by Mateo Gil (Vanilla Sky original film Abre Los Ojos, The Sea Inside) and features a talented cast including Tom Hughes (About Time, London Town), Charlotte Le Bon (The Walk, The Hundred-Foot Journey), Oona Chaplin (Taboo, “Game of Thrones”) and Barry Ward (The Fall, The Journey).

Syfy Films will be releasing REALIVE in Theaters on September 29, 2017 and on VOD and Digital HD on October 3, 2017.

Tonight Syfy airs the fifth installment of its movie franchise, Sharknado: Global Swarming. This time the storms go global as the sharknados move from country to country.

Fin Shepard (Ian Ziering), his mostly bionic wife April (Tara Reid), and their youngest son, Gil (Billy Barrett), travel to London to help stop some sharknados from wreaking havoc. While there, Gil is pulled up into the center of the traveling 'nado, and his family, along with Nova (Cassie Scerbo), race across the world, from Stonehenge, to Rio, to Rome, and beyond, to get him back.

As always, the film boasts a bunch of cameos from the likes of Clay Aiken, Chris Kattan, Fabio, Tony Hawk, and many more, as well as references to a lot of films.

REALIVE premiered at the 2016 Fantasia International Film Festival in Montreal followed by official selections of the FrightFest Film Festival in the U.K. and Sitges International Film Festival in Spain.

In REALIVE, Marc Jarvis (Tom Hughes) is diagnosed with a disease and given a short time to live. Unable to accept his own end, he decides to freeze his body. 60 years later, in the year 2084, he becomes the first cryogenically frozen man to be revived in history. Marc discovers a startling future, but the biggest surprise is that his past has accompanied him in unexpected ways.

This year, as Bambi celebrates its 75th anniversary, it joins the Walt Disney Signature Collection. The anniversary edition of the film contains most of the bonus features of the original release as well as all new ones.

Disney's Bambi, which was originally released in 1942, tells the story of a young deer named Bambi who learns about life and loss while meeting friends along the way, including Thumper, a rabbit, Flower, a skunk, and more, and becoming prince of the forest.
