Los Angeles, CA, March 20, 2017— Arcadia Releasing Group today announced that it will release writer/director Kenneth Mader’s award-winning sci-fi thriller DISPLACEMENT for an exclusive LA theatrical run at Laemmle’s Monica Film Center as well as on VOD April 28th, followed by play dates in Chicago and Dallas. VOD platforms include: Amazon Prime, iTunes, and Google Play, and the DVD will be available for rental from Family Video in May. Further DVD/BD release to follow.

The science fiction film, Atomica, by Syfy Films, which was released Friday in select theaters, also comes to VOD and Digital HD starting tomorrow. The film, directed by Dagen Merrill, is set in the near future, where nuclear radiation is converted to usable energy. When communications at a remote power plant go offline, Abby Dixon (Sarah Habel) is dispatched to fix the problem. It's obvious when she arrives that something is going on, as the lead scientist (Tom Sizemore) has gone missing, and she doesn't know if she can trust the only employee left at the facility, Robinson (Dominic Monaghan), who may not be who he appears.

Recently, the director talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about his work on the film.

Tomorrow, the new film released by Syfy Films, Atomica (originally named Deep Burial), from director Dagen Merrill, premieres in select theaters. Set in the near future where America is run almost exclusively on nuclear radiation converted into usable energy, communications at a remote power plant in the desert go offline, and safety inspector Abby Dixon (Sarah Habel) volunteers to go fix the problem.

Upon arriving, it's apparent something is very wrong at the dilapidated facility. Abby, who ends up stranded, struggles to get information from the caretaker/repairman, Robinson (Dominic Monaghan), who seems to be harboring some dark secrets, while trying to find the missing lead scientist, Zek (Tom Sizemore), who has disappeared.

The film Morgan, directed by Luke Scott, follows a group of scientists in a remote, top-secret lab who after previous failed experiments have genetically created a synthetic human, which has the potential to change human evolution forever. Morgan (Anya Taylor-Joy) was given emotions unlike the previous failures and seemed to be thriving, until she attacked one of the doctors.

A woman from corporate, Lee Weathers (Kate Mara), who deals with risk assessment and management, comes on board to decide what to do with Morgan. Things only go from bad to worse as Morgan is unwilling to be controlled anymore.

Action star Matt Damon returns after nearly a decade as the title character in the fifth installment in the Bourne franchise, Jason Bourne. Still in hiding after learning his life was a lie and faking his own death, Bourne is contacted by former CIA operative Nicky Parsons (Julia Stiles) after she finds some important information about his past while hacking the CIA. She reveals to Bourne that his father was heavily involved in project Treadstone. There is also information suggesting that the CIA is starting a new program worse than Treadstone, called Ironman.

Coming out of hiding puts Bourne in jeopardy when his location is discovered by CIA director Robert Dewey (Tommy Lee Jones) with the help of analyst Heather Lee (Alicia Vikander). Lee attempts to bring Bourne in, while Dewey works behind her back to have him killed, sending The Asset (Vincent Cassel) after him.

Tonight, as part of Syfy's 31 Days of Halloween, is the premiere of the horror film The Crooked Man.

During a slumber party of twelve year old girls, one of them, Olivia, who declares she isn't scared, is persuaded to sing a rhyme the girls find on the internet that is said to kill you after you sing it. Things go terribly wrong when one of the girls is killed by the demonic Crooked Man (Dmitrious Bistrevsky), and Olivia is blamed.

Six years later, when Olivia (Angelique Rivera) leaves the mental institution and tries to reclaim her life, those involved that night six years ago start to die, and she knows the Crooked Man is still after them, but will anyone believe her? She enlists the help of her friend's brother, Noah (Cameron Jebo), and they search for clues and the man who put up the website (Michael Jai White) to help stop the Crooked Man.

In The Huntsman: Winter's War, which serves as both a prequel and sequel to 2012's Snow White and the Huntsman, Queen Ravenna (Charlize Theron) is as evil as ever, doing whatever she has to, including killing her current husband to expand her empire.

Her little sister Freya (Emily Blunt) has shown no signs of magical ability like her sister. Ravenna thinks it is because she is weak. She is pregnant and in love with a man who has already been promised to another. Naive, Freya believes that everything will work out, but when a tragedy deals her a great loss, her heart freezes and unleashes in her an icy power.

Freya becomes bitter and as evil as Ravenna and just as powerful, creating her own kingdom by taking over others. Ripping children from their parents, she outlaws even the idea of love, and creates an army of Huntsmen to help her take over other kingdoms to expand her rule.
