AMC AND ALIBI COMMISSION NEW SERIAL KILLER THRILLER RAGDOLL FROM SID GENTLE FILMS

Project Set to Start Production in Spring 2021 and air in Late 2021

Los Angeles, CA / New York, NY -- February 18, 2021- Sid Gentle Films Ltd, AMC and Alibi today announce the greenlight of the new modern-day Faustian thriller Ragdoll, based on the novel by Daniel Cole. The project will air on AMC in the United States and Alibi in the UK. The pitch black and darkly witted thriller will be adapted into six parts, with a writing team led by Freddy Syborn (Ms Marvel, Bad Education).

Six people have been murdered, dismembered and sewn into the shape of one grotesque body — nicknamed the ‘Ragdoll’. Assigned to the shocking case are DS Nathan Wolf, recently reinstated to the London Met; his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter; and the unit’s new recruit, DC Lake Edmunds. The 'Ragdoll Killer' taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims, with Wolf’s name among them. And with those victims to protect, our heroes soon come under intense public scrutiny.  A gruesomely imaginative serial killer thriller, Ragdoll also captures the fascinating but flawed friends struggling with the consequences of institutionalisation and trauma.

Ethan Embry and King Bach Among Guest Stars for Season Three Premiering Later This Year

Los Angeles, CA / New York, NY – February 18, 2021 – Shudder, AMC Networks’ premium streaming service for horror, thriller and the supernatural, announced today from the Television Critics’ Association (TCA) Press Tour the renewal of the hit anthology series Creepshow for a third season of six episodes, set to premiere later this year. The renewal comes ahead of the series’ season two debut on Shudder and AMC+, the premium streaming bundle, on April 1, with new episodes airing each week. The show will also air on AMC at a later date. Actors Ethan Embry (Grace and Frankie, Sneaky Pete) and Andrew Bachelor, aka King Bach (King Bachelor’s Pad, To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before) will join as guest stars in season three, with more guest stars to be announced.  Based on George A. Romero’s iconic 1982 movie, Creepshow is executive produced by showrunner Greg Nicotero (​The Walking Dead).

Peacock Unveils New Unscripted, Comedy, True Crime and Sports Series at TCA

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – Today, Peacock announced all-new programming at the Television Critics Association Press Tour. New unscripted series EX RATED has been picked up with host and executive producer Andy Cohen, and highly anticipated REAL HOUSEWIVES OF MIAMI is in development. On the comedy front, Peacock has ordered UNTITLED CRAIG ROBINSON PROJECT to series starring Craig Robinson and ensemble comedy BUST DOWN from Lorne Michaels and starring Chris Redd, Sam Jay, Langston Kerman and Jak Knight. Additionally, Peacock announced true crime docuseries JOHN WAYNE GACY: DEVIL IN DISGUISE and sports series MICHAEL PHELPS: MEDALS MEMORIES & MORE. Available today, "For All Mankind: Time Capsule" is a new augmented reality (AR) experience that brings the world of the popular Apple TV+ series "For All Mankind" right into the homes of fans to uncover memories from the lives of Danny Stevens (Casey Johnson) and his parents, astronauts Gordo (Michael Dorman) and Tracy Stevens (Sarah Jones), in the decade between season one and season two. Through an interactive AR experience, fans join Danny as he examines keepsakes full of details about the off-screen lives of the characters and world of "For All Mankind,” where every object tells a story.
