AMC NETWORKS RENEWS ANNE RICE’S INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE FOR A THIRD SEASON

NEW YORK, NY – June 26, 2024 – AMC Networks today announced it has renewed the critically acclaimed series Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire for a third season, days before the finale of its second season on AMC and AMC+. The first series in its Anne Rice Immortal Universe, Interview has attracted a loyal base of passionate fans, excellent reviews and has the rare distinction of receiving 98-point scores for both its first and second seasons on Rotten Tomatoes.

Anne Rice Immortal Universe now includes three series: Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, which is currently in production on its second season, and the recently greenlit Anne Rice’s The Talamasca (wt). 

In season three, resentful of the perfunctory portrayal in the trashy bestseller “Interview With The Vampire,” the Vampire Lestat sets his story straight in a way only the Vampire Lestat can—by starting a band and going on tour.  Gabrielle. HBO HARRY POTTER Series Finds Its Writer And Director

Francesca Gardiner to Showrun and Executive Produce, and Mark Mylod to Executive Produce and Direct Multiple Episodes of the HBO Original Series

HBO, in association with Warner Bros. Television, has named Francesca Gardiner (HBO’s “Succession” and “His Dark Materials,” “Killing Eve”) as showrunner and executive producer, and Mark Mylod (HBO’s “Succession,” “Game of Thrones” and “The Last of Us”) as executive producer and director of multiple episodes of the upcoming original Harry Potter series. The new series, currently in development, will be available on Max’s expanding global footprint.

Series Info: The series will be a faithful adaptation of the beloved “Harry Potter” book series by author and executive producer J.K. Rowling. The series will feature a new cast to lead a new generation of fandom, full of the fantastic detail and much-loved characters “Harry Potter” fans have loved for over twenty-five years. Each season will bring “Harry Potter” and these incredible adventures to new audiences around the world, while the original, classic and cherished films will remain at the core of the franchise and available to watch globally.

Heist-Drama Series Leverage: Redemption Will Make Its Season Three Debut on Prime Video 

The fan-favorite series, produced by Dean Devlin’s Electric Entertainment, brings John Rogers on as showrunner and executive producer 

CULVER CITY, California—December 5, 2023—Amazon MGM Studios has renewed the popular heist-drama series Leverage: Redemption for a third season. Season Three will premiere on Prime Video next year in the U.S., UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. Produced by Electric Entertainment, Leverage: Redemption follows a Robin Hood-esque team of criminals as they stage elaborate cons against corrupt and powerful individuals on behalf of clients who have been wronged. 

Previous seasons of Leverage: Redemption, starring Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Riesgraf, Aldis Hodge, Noah Wyle, and Aleyse Shannon, are available to stream in the U.S. and U.K. on Amazon Freevee. The original Leverage series, the prequel to Leverage: Redemption, is currently available on Freevee via Electric Entertainment’s FAST Channel and on-demand.

The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon - The Book of Carol Set to Debut in 2024
 
NEW YORK, NY – October 12, 2023 – Melissa McBride is set to reprise her fan-favorite role as “Carol Peletier” as a series regular in the second season of The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, which was announced at New York Comic Con earlier today.  McBride first played “Carol” in The Walking Dead flagship series for eleven seasons alongside Norman Reedus, who stars as “Daryl Dixon” in the spin-off series set in France.  The news of McBride’s return to the Walking Dead Universe comes just ahead of the show’s Season One finale on Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/PT on AMC and AMC+, in which she makes an appearance. The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon has been a ratings success on AMC+ and AMC to become the most-viewed premiere in the history of AMC+ and is pacing to be the most-viewed single series of any show ever on the platform.  On AMC, Daryl is a top 15 cable drama for 2023 to date in adults 25-54, joining other AMC series The Walking Dead: Dead City, Anne Rice’s Mayfair Witches, Fear the Walking Dead and Dark Winds in that category.

AMC Networks returned to New York Comic Con this afternoon with a panel for The Walking Dead: Daryl Dixon, along with an early screening of the series’ Season One finale prior to its premiere this Sunday, October 15 at 9pm ET/8c on AMC and AMC+.
 
The panel, moderated by Entertainment Weekly’s Dalton Ross, kicked off with an exclusive look at some of AMC Networks’ anticipated series in 2024, including The Walking Dead: The Ones Who Live, Anne Rice’s Interview with the Vampire Season Two and Orphan Black: Echoes.

MGM+ Renews Sci-Fi Horror Series FROM for Season Three

Created by John Griffin and executive produced by Griffin and Lost alums Jeff Pinkner and Jack Bender, the series will return in 2024

BEVERLY HILLS, California—June 29, 2023—MGM+, a premium linear channel and streaming service, announced today that the contemporary sci-fi horror series FROM has been renewed for a 10-episode third season. Created and executive produced by John Griffin (Crater) and executive produced by showrunner Jeff Pinkner (Lost, Alias, Fringe), and director Jack Bender (Lost, Game of Thrones), the series unravels the mystery of a nightmarish town that traps all those who enter. In the wake of Season Two’s epic cliffhanger, escape will become a tantalizing and very real possibility as the true nature of the town comes into focus, and the townspeople go on offense against the myriad horrors surrounding them. The series is set to return in 2024. 

FROM is the second-most viewed series in the history of the premium network, behind the Emmy winning Godfather of Harlem, starring Forest Whitaker and co-created by Chris Brancato and Paul Eckstein (Narcos).

Peacock’s The Calling from David E. Kelley Releases Official Trailer + Show Art

The Calling tells the story of NYPD Detective Avraham Avraham, whose belief in mankind is his superpower when it comes to uncovering the truth. Guided by a deep sense of spirituality and religious principles, Avraham is left to question his own humanity when a seemingly routine investigation turns upside down. 

The series from prolific showrunner, writer and executive producer David E. NEW YORK – April 6, 2022 –  AMC Networks today announced that it had greenlit Orphan Black: Echoes, a long-awaited new series set in the world of the landmark series Orphan Black, to appear on AMC+ and the company’s linear networks in 2023. Produced and distributed globally by Boat Rocker, the company behind the original series, Orphan Black: Echoes will have a 10-episode first season. Anna Fishko (Pieces of Her, The Society, Fear the Walking Dead) is creator, writer, showrunner and executive producer with John Fawcett, the co-creator of the original series who also directed 17 episodes across all five seasons, on as director and executive producer. David Fortier and Ivan Schneeberg, executive producers from Boat Rocker on the original Orphan Black series, return as executive producers on the new series. Katie O’Connell Marsh, Nick Nantell, and Kerry Appleyard will also executive produce for Boat Rocker.
