Today, AMC released a first look image from upcoming series “Humans,” starring William Hurt.  The series will debut on AMC this summer.

Humans, a bold new eight-part drama series from Channel 4, Kudos and AMC, is set in a parallel present where the latest must-have gadget for any busy family is a ‘Synth’ - a highly-developed robotic servant eerily similar to its live counterpart. William Hurt plays George Millican, a widower who has formed a close relationship with his out-of-date synth Odi (played by Will Tudor), who he treats more like a son than a piece of machinery.

Written by British writing partnership Sam Vincent and Jonathan Brackley (Spooks, Spooks: The Greater Good), Humans is based on the award-winning Swedish sci-fi drama Real Humans.

FOX has renewed mystery-adventure series SLEEPY HOLLOW for a third season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company. Television producer Clifton Campbell has signed on as executive producer and showrunner.

After a five-year banishment to the traffic division for offensive behavior, he has returned from disgrace to lead Portland’s newly minted Special Crimes Unit (S.C.U.).
