Rosende and Toubia Joins Previously Announced Dominic Sherwood as ‘Jace Wayland’

Burbank, CA (May 1, 2015) – ABC Family continues to add to the “Shadowhunters” crew with the casting of Alberto Rosende as ‘Simon’ and  Emeraude Toubia as “Isabelle Lightwood.” It was announced today by the network. #SimonandIsabelle

Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare, “Shadowhunters” follows 18-year-old Clary Fray, who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. When her mother Jocelyn is kidnapped, Clary is thrown into the world of demon hunting with mysterious Shadowhunter Jace and her best friend, Simon. Now living among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves, Clary begins a journey of self-discovery as she learns more about her past and what her future may hold.

DAMIEN: "Damien" follows the adult life of Damien Thorn, the mysterious child from the 1976 motion picture who has grown up seemingly unaware of the satanic forces around him.  Haunted by his past, Damien must now come to terms with his true destiny -- that he is the Antichrist. Damien stars Bradley James as Damien Thorn (“Merlin,” “Homeland”), along with Oscar® nominee Barbara Hershey (“Once Upon a Time”), Omid Abtahi (“Better Call Saul”) and Meganlyn Echikunwoke (“House of Lies”). (previously announced)

LOS ANGELES, April 30, 2015 – Golden Globe^® Award winner Angela Bassett is the latest American Horror Story veteran to return for AHS: Hotel, the fifth installment of Ryan Murphy’s horror anthology series. Bassett joins fellow AHS alum Sarah Paulson, Kathy Bates, Evan Peters, Wes Bentley, Chloë Sevigny and Matt Bomer in the cast of Hotel, along with Lady Gaga and Cheyenne Jackson.

BBC Worldwide North America Announces the Highly Anticipated U.S. Premiere of the Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular Live at Barclays Center on October 7, 2015

BBC Worldwide North America brings yet another incredible Doctor Who experience to the U.S. The Doctor Who Symphonic Spectacular, a live show, which sold out when it premiered in Australia, will be staged for the first time in the U.S. at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, New York on Wednesday October 7, 2015. The event, produced and presented by Vision Nine, will be one of the headline events of New York Super Week, which takes over the city October 5-11 in the lead-up to the main event New York Comic Con, taking place October 8-11 at the Javits Center.

The show will be hosted by actor Michelle Gomez who portrays Missy, the latest incarnation of the Doctor’s arch-nemesis the Master. She first appeared on-screen in 2014 and returns to Doctor Who in the new season scheduled to air on BBC AMERICA this fall.

NBC TO MAKE AVAILABLE ENTIRE DAVID DUCHOVNY SERIES ‘AQUARIUS’ WITH LINEAR NETWORK PREMIERE

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – April 29, 2015 – To offer viewers the same binge-viewing experience they now enjoy on streaming platforms, NBC will make the unprecedented move of releasing all 13 episodes of David Duchovny’s new series “Aquarius” on NBC.com and the NBC app after the show’s two-hour linear network premiere on May 28, 2015. The entire series will also be offered to all other video-on-demand platforms for release at that time as well.

In making the announcement, NBC Entertainment Chairman Bob Greenblatt said, “With ‘Aquarius’ we have the opportunity to push some new boundaries to give our audience something no broadcast network has done before. THE FLASH also matched its second best rating ever among men 18-34.

SYFY REVEALS 2015 SUMMER PROGRAMMING SCHEDULE

The slate includes two new scripted series: Killjoys, from the producers of Orphan Black, and Dark Matter, from the writers of Stargate Atlantis. Also on tap are the new unscripted game show Geeks Who Drink, hosted and executive produced by Zachary Levi; and returning seasons of scripted originals Defiance and Dominion, as well as fan-favorite Face Off. Beverly Hills, Calif., April 23, 2015 – The STARZ Original series “Ash vs Evil Dead” began production this month in New Zealand on the 10-episode first season of the half-hour series executive produced by Sam Raimi, Rob Tapert, Bruce Campbell, the original filmmakers of the franchise, and Craig DiGregorio who will serve as executive producer and showrunner.  “Ash vs Evil Dead” is the long-awaited follow-up to the classic horror film franchise The Evil Dead and is set to premiere on STARZ in fall 2015.

With only three weeks until the finale, the pressure is on! Tonight, host Ryan Seacrest revealed the AMERICAN IDOL XIV Top Five finalists – Clark Beckham, Nick Fradiani, Jax, Tyanna Jones and Rayvon Owen – who are moving on in the competition and will also be on tour this summer with the “American Idol Live!” U.S. concert tour.  Quentin Alexander and Rayvon Owen were in the bottom two and America had the chance to save one of them with the IDOL Fan Save via Twitter. Owen received the most votes from the IDOL Fan Save and therefore continues in the competition, while Alexander, from New Orleans, LA, was eliminated.
