Advance Preview: The Walking Dead - Ghosts

The Walking DeadThis week’s episode of The Walking Dead, which airs Sunday, is titled “Ghosts.” I can’t talk about the title without discussing spoilers, but it’s pretty apropos.

As the possibility of The Whispers returning looms over the group, paranoia takes over. If that wasn’t enough, they’re confronted with enough walkers that they're left with little time to deal with much else.

Meanwhile, Carol (Melissa McBride) struggles with her need for revenge on Alpha (Samantha Morton), and her actions could affect everyone.

The Walking DeadThe third episode is another terrific one, and this one is filled with action and killing the dead, which the show is always great at. It's nice when they shake things up when dealing with walkers, and this week they did a great job of making things feel urgent.

The star of the episode is definitely Melissa McBride, and I loved seeing her in full “bad-ass Carol” mode as she endeavored to restrain herself, and even more so when she didn’t.

The Walking DeadThere were also meaningful scenes between Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and Aaron (Ross Marquand), and it was fun to see them square off. I also enjoyed the result, which I won’t spoil. I will say, however, I'm much happier with Negan's character this season.

There was also an important moment between Rosita (Christian Serratos) and Eugene that’s been a long time coming.

Most of all, however, I enjoyed the ending because of where it could lead. As usual, I can’t wait to see what’s next.
