Cross is a crime thriller on Prime Video based on the James Patterson novels. The series follows Alex Cross (Aldis Hodge), a homicide detective and forensic psychologist of the Metro Police Department, known for his insight into criminals. When a sadistic serial killer emerges in Washington D.C., Cross must use his expertise to unravel the mystery behind the gruesome crimes and stop the killer while also grappling with personal demons and a mysterious threat from his past.

Police Chief April Anderson (Jennifer Wigmore), is a strong and ambitious leader at the department who often clashes with Cross over his unconventional methods.
