The new adaptation of Cruel Intentions, which recently premiered on Prime Video is set at Manchester college, where status and social standing are everything. The story follows step-siblings Caroline Merteuil (Sarah Catherine Hook) and Lucien Belmont (Zac Burgess), who will stop at nothing to dominate the competitive social scene. When a severe hazing incident jeopardizes Greek life, they resort to extreme measures, including seducing Annie Grover (Savannah Lee Smith), the Vice President’s daughter, to maintain their influence. The series also stars Sara Silva as Cece Carroway, Sean Patrick Thomas as Professor Hank Chadwick, John Harlan Kim as Blaise Powell, Khobe Clarke as Scott Russell, and Brooke Lena Johnson as Beatrice Worth.
