In season two of 1923, which recently premiered on Paramount+, the Dutton family faces a brutal winter as they struggle to maintain their ranch amidst financial strain and threats from Donald Whitfield (Timothy Dalton). The second season also introduces the character of US Marshal Mamie Fossett (Jennifer Carpenter), who becomes involved in the search for Teonna Rainwater (Aminah Nieves), who remains on the run from her pursuers.
