David Ajala & Peter GadiotNine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, created and written by Anthony Horowitz, tells the story of nine strangers who survive a plane crash and find themselves marooned in a remote Mexican jungle. As they struggle to survive, they soon realize that their ordeal is far from over. One by one, the survivors start dying under mysterious and violent circumstances. The remaining survivors must band together to uncover the identity of the killer among them before it's too late, however to do that, they must learn to trust each other.

Among the survivors are Zack Ellis and Carlos Garcia Mendez. Zack, portrayed by David Ajala, is a resourceful and determined individual who quickly becomes a key player in the group's efforts to survive and uncover the truth, however not everyone believes his story about working in insurance. Carlos, played by Peter Gadiot, was revealed to be a luchador, a masked Mexican wrestler, and the series most recent victim.
