The Buccaneers is a historical drama set in the 1870s during the Gilded age. The series follows five wealthy and ambitious young American women who travel to London to participate in debutante season with the goal of securing husbands, but their unconventional personalities clash with the rigid traditions of high society. In season two, which recently premiered on Apple TV+, the women navigate the darker realities of adulthood, romance, betrayal, and shifting friendships.
