In the world of "reality" television, ABC Family is bringing fun television for the family back to mainstream television. In a recent interview, Guy Torry discusses the new show and the fun they have while filming, which makes long days just breeze by.

Mr. Torry tells of his moving out to Los Angeles, his stand-up comedy history, and some of his charities and what he feels is his duty to do. Some of his future plans are with a documentary in the works and a comedy tour.

Dancing Fools is not only an entertaining, family show, it has a charming, down-to-earth co-host in Guy Torry.

Syfy's Defiance is home to a diverse group of alien races, including the Castithans. One of the Castithan families living in the town is the Tarrs – Datak, played by Tony Curran, and Stahma (Jaime Murray), and their son Alak (Jesse Rath).

Recently Continuum returned to Syfy for its second season. The series, created and executive produced by Simon Barry, follows Kiera Cameron (Rachel Nichols), a cop from 2077 who is trapped in present day after traveling back in time without her consent with a group of terrorists called Liber8, bent on changing things. One of the interesting things about the series is that the lines are often blurred as it seems Liber8 is trying to create a better and free future, though going about it in the wrong way.

One of the members of Liber8 is Sonya Valentine, played by Lexa Doig, who was left in charge after the death of their leader, Edouard Kagame (Tony Amendola). Originally a doctor as opposed to a soldier, she might have some new ideas about how to continue on. Regardless, she followed through on shooting Liber8 member and lover Travis Verta (Roger Cross), as one of Kagame's last requests. The shot, however, she came to find out, was not fatal.

Over the years we have watched television and film make changes in quality and of daring content. As the roles of parents and the situations of family life changes, the entertainment industry also changes. ABC Family has premiered a new show called The Fosters with the storyline of two mothers raising both biological and adopted multi-ethnic children.

David Lambert plays the biological son of one of the moms, and as he chatted with the press, he told us of the new role, the story lines, and that although he likes the up and coming talent on the show, he likes to stay rooted in the classic actors such as Leonardo DiCaprio and Robert DeNiro.

The 2013 Miss USA Competition returns to NBC on Sunday, June 16. Giuliana Rancic, will be hosting for the third time, along with newcomer Nick Jonas, live from Las Vegas, Nevada. The co-anchor of E! News and the Grammy-nominated American singer-songwriter recently talked to the digital media about their endeavors.

NBC's new crime drama, Crossing Lines, premieres Sunday June 23rd. The series focuses on cross-border crimes and the special law enforcement team who work globally to solve them. One member of the internatinal team is Carl Hickman, played by William Fichtner, a wounded ex-cop.

Fichtner, along with executive producers Rola Bauer and Ed Bernero, talked to the digital media about the new series which premieres June 23rd on NBC.

If you've watched Syfy's series Defiance, you've no doubt heard two of the Votan races, Irathient and Castithan, speaking in their native tongues. What you may not realize is how much is involved in creating a language for a series, let alone two. It's not just a few made up words, but rather entire languages are created. These include pronunciation and grammar rules just like any other language. The two languages and writings systems of Defiance were created by David J. Peterson, who also previously created the languages on Game of Thrones.

TNT's hit series Franklin & Bash returns for a third season starting Wednesday, June, 19th with two back-to-back episodes. The legal series stars Breckin Meyer (Jared Franklin) and Mark-Paul Gosselaar (Peter Bash) as lawyers who like to do things their own way. This season Heather Locklear joins the cast as Rachel King, the new partner at the firm who doesn't approve of their methods and tries to reign them in.

TBS's Sullivan & Son returns for a second season starting Thursday, June 13th. The comedy focuses on Steve Sullivan, played by Steve Byrne, a successful corporate attorney who leaves his job to return home to Pittsburgh to take over his parents' bar.

Byrne recently talked to the media about the new season, which premieres Thursday on TBS.
