The new FOX series, Almost Human, which premieres November 4th*, takes place in the year 2048. The series follows Detective John Kennex, played by Karl Urban, who wakes up from a 17-month coma after surviving an attack agains the police department. He's lost his partner, his leg, and much of his memory of the event. Even though not really fit for duty and still suffering the "psychological rejection of his sythetic body part," Kennex is requested to return to work by Captain Sandra Maldonado (Lili Taylor). He reluctantly agrees but is annoyed by the new requirement that every cop must take an android as a partner.

After ending his partnership with one of the robots after he discovers some discriminating evidence on him, Kennex is partnered with Dorian, played by Michael Ealy, an android from a line of robots no longer in use because of their "flaws" of emotional responses.

Though a struggle, Kennex must learn to work with his partner and except their new arrangement. Dorian might just be what Kennex needs to move on.

The Blacklist follows criminal Raymond "Red" Reddington, played by James Spader, one of the FBI's Most Wanted fugitives, after he surrenders to the FBI. He wants to strike a deal to help them catch the worst of the worst, many that the government doesn't know about, but with the stipulation that he will talk only with profiler Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone), who's fresh out of Quantico. The criminals are all part of a "blacklist" that he has compiled that consists of politicians, mobsters, spies, and terrorists.

Star Spader recently talked to the digital media about his work on The Blacklist, as well playing Ultron in Joss Whedon's new edition to The Avengers film franchise.

Yesterday I was able to attend a meet and greet in Canton, Ohio with Eddie McClintock and do an exclusive video interview with him for SciFi Vision to promote his film A Fish Story. This season of Syfy's Haven introduced some new characters, one being that of William, played by Colin Ferguson. It's not clear as of yet what he has in store for Audrey, played by Emily Rose, who is now essentially Lexi and has no memory of her previous life after having entered the barn at the end of last season. One thing is clear; however, William knows a lot about Audrey, and not everyone wants him to share that information with her.

Ferguson talked to SciFi Vision about what fans will learn about William moving forward, during a press conference with Rose and the digital media. "We are going to find that history about who William is and what their relationship was. How much history we can't really say, although I think I can't say that it's not going to be left completely up in the air. As the season...progresses, you find out sort of the problems and strengths of their relationship and you find out if it's going to be an addition or subtraction to the town. So that stuff definitely plays out.

Katey Sagal is most popularly known as the wise cracking red head Peg Bundy on the hit show Married with Children. Sagal has had memorable guest appearances on series such as on Lost, as Helen, the love interest for John Locke. She can now be seen as the no nonsense matriarch on Sons of Anarchy as Gemma Teller Morrow. Recently Sagal answered some questions in a conference call.

Last night, the hit drama Bones returned to FOX for an all new season nine. The series picked up where it left off last season, with the wedding between Booth (David Boreanaz) and Brennan (Emily Deschanel) postponed because of Pelant's (Andrew Leeds) threat, with Brennan in the dark.

This season will bring new cases and new struggles, as well as tie up some of the loose ends, according to creator and executive producer Hart Hanson and executive producer Stephen Nathan, who talked to the press last week.

Hanson told SciFi Vision about the return of Pelant, "Pelant will definitely figure in their lives quite heavily in the first few episodes. We will see him again. We'll see him in a way we haven't before. It'll be a far more intense episode and it'll be them confronting him in a way we haven't seen before."

FOX's new series Sleepy Hollow is not quite what you might expect. A blend of a modern day Sleepy Hollow, plus ideas from Rip Van Winkle, thrown in with some historial events and apocalypse mythology, makes for a unique new show.

The show follows Ichabod Crane (Tom Mison), who 250 years after the Revolutionary War wakes up in modern day Sleepy Hollow, and it's apparent that he didn't come back alone. After the sheriff (Clancy Brown) is killed by the Headless Horseman, Crane bonds with Detective Abbie Mills (Nicole Beharie) as she strives to find the truth in not only his death, but to mysteries of her own past.

Co-creators and executive producers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci recently talked to the press about the new series, which premieres Monday, September 16th, on FOX.

Maggie Siff has been seen in guest starring roles on series such as on Nip/Tuck and Life on Mars. Siff had a brief stint on Mad Men. Now you can catch her on the hit FX drama Sons of Anarchy, where she plays Tara Knowles, a woman trying to balance her professional life as a doctor and as the wife of Jax Teller, the president of the Sons of Anarchy, all while trying to raise her two boys and keep them away from the violence surrounding them. Sean Hayes, who is probably best known for his work on Will & Grace, stars in the new NBC sitcom Sean Saves the World. In the series Sean plays a gay divorced father who struggles to balance time for his career, as well as his teenage daughter, Ellie (Samantha Isler), who moves in. He wants to be the best dad ever, which is difficult with his new pushy boss as well as his mother, who thinks she knows best.

Hayes talked to the press recently about his new series which debuts on NBC on October 3rd.

The second set of round table interviews at the Defiance press room during the Fan Expo in Toronto was with Dewshane Williams, who plays Tommy, and Julie Benz, who plays Amanda Rosewater. The actors were able to reveal a bit about the new season during the interviews, which include very slight spoilers.
