Brain Games has been a hit since it premiered three weeks ago on the National Geographic channel. If you haven't seen the show, be sure to tune in to a special one-hour ago episode this Friday night at 9 pm on FOX. Brain Games: Blow Your Mind will do just that, using interactive games to take you inside our most complex and mysterious organ.

The host, Jason Silva recently talked to SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview.

After five minutes chatting with host Jason Silva, it was easy to see it was not a typical science program. He described Brain Games as a "pop science series that uses perceptual experiments, optical illusions, and interactive brain hacks to create a crack in your perception of reality."

"In other words," he explained, "to create that feeling of doubt, that feeling that what you see is not always what you get. Your brain is telling you something different than what you know to be true. "

How does this happen? Why do we fall for tricks like optical illusions?

In anticipation of tonight’s season finale of Grimm, we caught up with actress Bree Turner, who plays Wesen pharmacist Rosalee Calvert. Turner promised us we’ll be blown away by the episode.

“I don't know what more they could have put in this script,” she said. “I mean everyone, every storyline gets blown out and exposed, resolved, challenged. And then the level of production value in this finale, it's like feature film quality stuff in terms of effects and story and set and environment.”

Over the second season, we’ve seen Rosalee come into her own and master the art of mixing potions. In the last few weeks she has become one of Nick’s greatest assets.

“I always likened Rosalee as someone who was the most talented, with the biggest gifts,” Turner explained, “but the one that was the most insecure and lost with it all. And now that we're at the end of the second season I think it's been really fun to throw a lot of that away now and just be confident and own my power now.

“As you'll see Tuesday, I become much more the authority in the issue at hand. There's no more bumbling through this now. Now I am one of the most powerful apothecaries in the Wesen community.”

The Goodwin Games, which comes from the executive producers of How I Met Your Mother, is a single-camera comedy about a group of estranged siblings, who reunite after their father's death. They find out that their late father left a fortune, but only to one of them. They must compete in a series of games and competitions to determine the winner. Their father, Benjamin, having felt guilty of not being a good parent, has found a way to bring his children back together.

Scott Foley stars as the eldest brother, Henry, a plastic surgeon.

The actor recently sat down to talk to the media about the new series, premiering tonight on Fox.

This season on the first ever All-Star Celebrity Apprentice, fourteen celebrities from previous seasons returned to compete in business-driven tasks for the title, as well as to raise money for their charities. The last celebrity standing will win a $250,000 bonus for their charity of choice.

The two remaining contestants, Penn Jillette and Trace Adkins, along with with star and executive producer Donald Trump, recently talked to the media about the series, including the season finale, which airs tonight on NBC.

The series Defiance is about a town shared by both humans and aliens alike, while they try to learn to coexist. Two of the main protagonists of the story are Datak Tarr, played by Tony Curran, and his wife, Stahma, played by Jaime Murray. The Tarr family, including their son Alak, played by Jesse Rath, are of the Votan race called Castithans. Castithans have a strong caste system, at which, at least on Earth, Datak is now at the top of. As the series progresses, however, it seems that Stahma may be the more cunning of the two. Alak, however, does not share in their views of grandeur, and plans to wed the human girl, Cristie. His parents, unbeknownst to him, plan to use this to their advantage.

Curran and Murray recently talked to the digital media about their time working on the series, which airs Mondays on Syfy.

The new series Save Me follows the life of Beth Harper and her family after her near death experience. Beth, played by Anne Heche, was not a good mother, nor wife, until her life changed after almost choking on a sandwich in her kitchen, after a night of drinking. Suddenly she claimed she could hear the voice of God in her head telling her what to say and what to do. Her daughter and cheating husband were skeptical. Over the season, Beth will use her "gift" to attempt to make amends with others, whether they want her help or not.

Heche recently talked to the media about her new comedy, which premieres Thursday, May 23rd on NBC.

Syfy's new series Defiance, which airs on Mondays, takes place in the future on a terraformed Earth. After their home worlds were destroyed, seven alien races, collectively known as the Votans, came to Earth to find a new home. Now, after the Pale Wars between the humans and Votans have ended, people and aliens alike attempt to co-exist peacefully.

The story follows the human, Joshua Nolan, played by Grant Bowler, and his "adoptive daughter" Irisa, and Irathient, played by Stephanie Leonidas, as they move to Defiance and help keep peace in the town.

Leonidas recently talked to Jamie Ruby of SciFi Vision in an exclusive interview about her work on the series, what fans can expect on the series moving forward, and what else she has planned for the future.

Many fans were surprised when contestant Angie Miller was voted off of American Idol last week. The Massachusetts native was unique in that she sang many of her of own original songs. The singer talked to reporters last week about coming in third on Idol and her plans for the future.

The singer talked to SciFi Vision about the best advice she received while on Idol. "I think what really sticks out to me when I think of everything that they've said is that they didn't just appreciate like my voice or just me, whatever, but they appreciated just the artistry and the songwriting and knowing that I know who I am as a person. I love how they really appreciated that and they stressed that [it] was important to never lose your songwriting and who you are and what you stand for. I think that's what stuck out with me the most. It wasn't really a critique but it was just them saying, "Thank you for being that way, keep being that way," and that meant the world to me."

Miller also told the site that she would love to get to perform an original song on tour, but doesn't know if she will be able to. "I don't know but I really, really hope so because that would be amazing."

Monday is a special black and white noir episode of Warehouse 13. In the episode, Pete and Myka are pulled into a 1940s crime novel as the race to find the artifact that put them there.

Guest starring in the episode are Enrico Colantoni and Missi Pyle, who previously worked together on the cult classic Galaxy Quest. The episode also features a performance by Pyle of "After You've Gone."
