Last week the top 10 contestants competed to become the next "American Idol," and one was sent home. Curtis Finch, Jr. of St. Louis, Missouri received the least amount of votes and was eliminated from the competition on Thursday. Finch, who talked to the digital media on Friday about his journey, will be part of the American Idol tour this summer.

Finch talked to SciFi Vision about why he chose American Idol to audition for. "American Idol is the show of all shows. It searches around the world for talent all across the world and so people really get a chance to be discovered. And so without American Idol, there would not be The Sing-Off or The Voice or these other shows that people in my opinion. You know, there always has to be an example of something. There always has to be a soundboard for somebody to learn something off of and so American Idol is that. It's the original. It's the best, the number one show. I love it."

The singer also discussed what kind of album he will make. "I see myself being a very inspirational type singer just talking about love, just talking about how you can overcome and how you can make it, and so I don't really know what it entails at this moment, but I just know that I really live to inspire everybody across America."

Julia Stiles is probably mostly known for her work in film, in projects from 10 Things I Hate About You to The Bourne Ultimatum, and more recently Silver Linings Playbook. Stiles recently made the move to the world of digital media by starring in the WIGS channel web series Blue, which debuted its second season on Friday. The series follows Blue, a single mother who lives the secret life of an upscale escort.

The new four-episode web series, Paloma, written and directed by Stiles, is slated to debut this spring.

Last week Stiles talked to the digital press about life and her work on both series.

Stiles talked to SciFi Vision about the decision to work on a web series. "It was as simple as wanting to work with Rodrigo Garcia, and I really love the way he wrote. He approached me about doing Blue I guess a little over more than a year ago. At first I was a little bit reluctant about the idea of a web series, only because I didn't know what to expect, and I didn't know really how the programming on YouTube would develop, but I was intrigued also by the idea, because I thought this is kind of the wave of the future and the way that people watch shows more and more, you know on their devices and on the computer.

Monday, season one of Continuum will come to a shocking conclusion while Kiera races to stop a terrorist attack that she knows will be devastating and bring the Liber8 movement to the forefront. In preparation of the episode airing on Syfy, the series stars Rachel Nichols, who plays Kiera, and Victor Webster, who plays Carlos, as well as the creator and executive producer, Simon Barry, talked to the digital media. They discussed the season finale, as well as teased about what's in store for season two.

Executive producer Barry revealed to SciFi Vision that at some point, Kiera may have to start to reveal some of her secrets to Carlos. "We obviously want to get to a point, at some point, where we've mined him not knowing and sort of dealing with their relationship based on trust and faith, to the point where it makes sense, and then to move on from that point. I can't tell you exactly when that's going to happen, but I think that we're all in agreement that it's best for their relationship to evolve at a certain point; we're just not locked into when that's going to happen."

In tonight’s all-new episode of Grimm, a group of Wesen criminals commit a string of robberies fully morphed in front of humans, a serious violation of the Wesen code. Silas Weir Mitchell, who costars as everyone’s favorite Blutbad Monroe, shared some details with us.

“You're really not supposed to show your inner self in order to take advantage of the normal people in the world,” he explained. “It's immoral and it also could tear at the fabric of reality for people.”

He added that “it's a big no-no because it exposes too much of the way the world really works. You have to behave a certain way. And if you go outside of that, you are in big trouble.”

Monroe is present during one of the crimes. “The bank robbery was intense,” Weir told us. “They were firing off full loads with automatic weapons. And it was loud and it was scary.

“I hope that comes across on screen because it was pretty cool to be there.”

This season, for the first time ever, the contestants of Hell's Kitchen will be presenting their signature dishes to Chef Gordon Ramsay in Las Vegas before a live audience. They will be competing in two teams. The last chef standing will win a head chef position working under Executive Head Chef Jeremy Berlin at Gordon Ramsay Pub & Grill at Caesars Palace.

Legit pours on some star power this week when John Ratzenberger (Cheers, Toy Story) guest stars as Steve and Billy’s dad, Walter. It seems mom Janice has become a hoarder, forcing Walter to move into a tent in the backyard, and of course Jim’s intervention goes awry.

Ratzenberger is a fan of Legit’s aggressive humor. “When I read the Legit script,” he says, “I laughed. I thought, ‘Oh, this is really politically incorrect, but it’s really funny.’

“The writing is the most important part,” he explains. “If you ever noticed with Cheers and Legit, they’re very similar in that you never see the joke coming. With most TV comedies, you know what the joke’s going to be. You can see it three pages away, but with Legit, you don’t see it coming. That’s what I like about it.”

Quite a bit has been going on this season on Lost Girl. Dyson, played by Kris Holden-Ried, has his love for Bo, played by Anna Silk, back and Kenzi, played by Ksenia Solo, had previously been kidnapped. More recently, Bo learned that she has to go through The Dawning, a right of passage that all Fae must complete. If she fails she will devolve into an Under Fae. The problem is, it's happening two hundred years ahead of schedule. With little time left to prepare, Trick (Rick Howland) has been trying to impart his knowledge to help his granddaughter through to the end.

The series actors Silk, Holden-Ried, and Solo recently talked to the digital media about this season as well as the official renewal for season four.

Grimm returns from hiatus this week with an intense new episode. Although Renard and Juliette’s secret has been exposed, their attraction will intensity. Series costars Sasha Roiz and Bitsie Tulloch gave us a preview of what’s in store.

“What happens on Friday night,” said Tulloch, “we’ve not seen the likes of on Grimm so far. I think it’s just a great way to deal with what’s going on between the two of them and also to highlight how little control they have over it. That this is not some slow burning love, they can’t control the lust."

Roiz called the episode “Grimm after dark, a little racier version."

“I think [the fans will] be pleased,” he added, “and it’s a good payoff after this long hiatus.”

This week also brings the long-awaited showdown between Nick and Renard.

“I’m really glad that it’s happened,” said Roiz. “I’m really glad that we had a chance to finally confront each other because I think it’s something the fans had been waiting for a long time. And we as characters and actors had been waiting for as well. So I don’t think it’s a moment too soon.”

Syfy's Haunted Collector returns, Wednesday, March 6th at 9 p.m. ET with "The Collectors" searching for the answers to their client's unexplainable problems. Executive Producer, Rick Sasson, and Lead Investigator, John Zaffis, both agree that this season focuses more on the clients and the possible phenomenon in their locations. There is a wide variety of travel in season 3. The Collector Team investigates cases in Hawaii, Hollywood, Middle America, Puerto Pico, Upstate New York, to name a few. We will see more of John Zaffis' Museum of the Paranormal in this season as well.

The Haunted Collector Team includes John Zaffis, Aimee Zaffis, Chris Zaffis, Brian Cano, Jason Gates, and Jesslyn Brown.

The new drama Vikings, premieres March 3rd on History. The new series follows the adventures and also day to day lives of the Vikings, including real life historical figure Rollo, played by Clive Standen, brother to Ragnar (Travis Fimmel) who has convinced his brother and the other Vikings to sail west to find untold treasure. Rollo is a great warrior, but is also jealous of his brother and his marriage. Ragnar treats Rollo as an equal, but the tension is always high when it comes to Rollo, who is often not as honorable as his brother.

In preparation for the premiere of the new series, Standen recently talked to the media about his new role and the rigors of it.
