NEW YORK – March 23, 2016 – No fooling, Syfy’s latest genre-bending original movie, DEAD 7 – a boy band zombie Western – will premiere on Friday, April 1 at 8PM ET/PT.

That’s right, everybody throw your hands up in the air because the post-apocalyptic, zombie Western mashup flick – from the makers of SHARKNADO – stars members of beloved, world famous boy bands Backstreet Boys, *NSYNC, 98 Degrees and O-Town!

DEAD 7 tells the story of a ragtag band of gunslingers who team up to rid a small town of a zombie plague in the post-apocalyptic West. The two-hour movie is headlined by Backstreet Boys’ Nick Carter (last season’s “Dancing with the Stars” runner-up), playing Jack, the reluctant hero who unites the town’s outlaws in a showdown against the zombie menace.

FOX has renewed hit drama series GOTHAM for a third season, it was announced today by David Madden, President, Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company.

“SHADOWHUNTERS” CAST SURPRISES FANS WITH A SECOND SEASON PICK-UP ANNOUNCEMENT VIA A FACEBOOK LIVE CHAT

Freeform announced today that the hit original saga series “Shadowhunters” will return for a second season, via a Facebook Live chat with the cast. The first saga series for the network, “Shadowhunters” is currently airing TUESDAYS at 9:00 – 10:00 PM EST. The season one finale will air on Tuesday, April 5.

Based on the bestselling young adult fantasy book series “The Mortal Instruments” by Cassandra Clare, “Shadowhunters” follows Clary Fray, who finds out on her birthday that she is not who she thinks she is, but rather comes from a long line of Shadowhunters – human-angel hybrids who hunt down demons. Now thrown into the world of demon hunting after her mother is kidnapped, Clary must rely on the mysterious Jace and his fellow Shadowhunters Isabelle and Alec to navigate this new dark world. With her best friend, Simon, in tow, Clary must now live among faeries, warlocks, vampires and werewolves to find answers that could help her find her mother.

Today, AMC released three first look character photos from the highly anticipated upcoming drama series “Preacher.”  The photos feature the three series lead characters, including Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun) and Tulip (Ruth Negga).  (Also included is a promo poster.)

Slated to debut in May the series is based on the popular, cult comic book franchise of the same name.  “Preacher” is a supernatural, twisted and darkly comedic drama that follows a West Texas preacher named Jesse Custer, who is inhabited by a mysterious entity that causes him to develop a highly unusual power.  Jesse, his badass ex-girlfriend Tulip and an Irish vagabond named Cassidy come together and when they do, they are thrust into a crazy world populated by a cast of characters from Heaven, Hell and everywhere in between.

SYFY AND THE ASYLUM ANNOUNCE SHARKNADO 4 CASTING

NEW YORK – March 9, 2016 – Syfy and The Asylum announced today that Ian Ziering will slay again in SHARKNADO 4 (working title), reprising his role as shark-fighting hero Fin Shepard, while Tara Reid is set to return as April Wexler to reveal the outcome of the fan-voted #AprilLives or #AprilDies social campaign. The fourth addition to the hit global franchise also sees the return of David Hasselhoff as Gil Shepard and Ryan Newman as Claudia Shepard.
