“LUCIFER” RENEWED FOR THIRD SEASON ON FOX

Series Returns for its Spring Premiere Monday, May 1, on FOX

FOX has ordered a third season of LUCIFER, the devilishly fun series about the original fallen angel who moves to Los Angeles and teams up with the LAPD to take down criminals. Twenty-two episodes have been ordered.

UNIVERSAL CITY, CA – February 9, 2017 -- Syfy and Universal Cable Productions (UCP) today announced a pick-up of two more installments of the critically acclaimed horror anthology series, CHANNEL ZERO. In addition, UCP has signed an overall deal with the series’ executive producer, Nick Antosca (“Hannibal,” “Teen Wolf”). Under the agreement, Antosca will develop and produce scripted programming with UCP for the NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment portfolio and for external networks and streaming services.
 
Each installment of the CHANNEL ZERO anthology is based on a “creepypasta” (user-generated horror stories published online). The first installment in the anthology series, the six-part CANDLE COVE, landed on several “Best TV of 2016” lists and centered on Kris Straub’s unnerving story of one man’s obsessive recollection of a mysterious children’s television program from the 1980s. NO-END HOUSE, the second six-hour installment, is set to premiere on Syfy in October 2017.It follows Brian Russell’s story of Margot (Amy Forsyth, “The Path”), a young woman who, along with her friends, visits the No-End House – a bizarre house of horrors consisting of a series of increasingly disturbing rooms.

Announced today, the fifth and final season of BBC AMERICA’s critically-acclaimed series, Orphan Black, will premiere Saturday, June 10^th at 10/9c. Tatiana Maslany makes the highly anticipated return to her Emmy^®-winning role as multiple clones in the Peabody Award-winning series.

In addition, BBC AMERICA announced Tatiana Maslany (Leda clones) and the full cast will appear together for the first time at 2017’s PaleyFest LA on Thursday, March 23^rd. ‘SHADOWHUNTERS’ ANNOUNCES THE HIGHLY ANTICIPATED CASTING OF WILL TUDOR AS SEBASTIAN

Internet rumors have been circling for months on who would play the role of Sebastian in the Freeform original series “Shadowhunters” and it was announced today that actor Will Tudor (“Game of Thrones”) has been cast in the role. Tudor will be a recurring guest star in the later half of the second season slated to air later in 2017. All-new episodes of “Shadowhunters” air on MONDAYS at 8:00 – 9:00 p.m. EST.

Sebastian is a charming, brilliant and highly educated Shadowhunter with unrivaled fighting abilities. Originally from a foreign Institute, he finds his way to the New York Institute after befriending one of the show’s main characters.

HBO RENEWS WESTWORLD, DIVORCE AND INSECURE

LOS ANGELES, Nov. 14, 2016 – HBO has renewed WESTWORLD, DIVORCE and INSECURE for second seasons, it was announced today by Casey Bloys, president, HBO Programming.

“I am thrilled to announce the pickup of our three fall series, all of which have distinctive, original voices,” said Bloys. “Critics and viewers alike have welcomed WESTWORLD and INSECURE, as well as the return of Sarah Jessica Parker to the network after 12 years with DIVORCE.”

Season-to-date, WESTWORLD is averaging a gross audience of 11.7 million viewers, outperforming “Game of Thrones” and “True Detective” during similar times in their first seasons. DIVORCE and INSECURE are averaging 4.4 million and 3.2 million viewers, respectively, on par with other HBO half-hours like “VEEP” and “Girls.”

New York – October 7, 2016 – This Christmas on BBC AMERICA, the Doctor teams up with a comic-book superhero in New York for a heroic special written by Steven Moffat, titled The Return of Doctor Mysterio.

The hit BBCA series will return on Christmas day as the Doctor, played by Peter Capaldi, teams up with an investigative journalist, played by Charity Wakefield (Wolf Hall, The Player) and a superhero to save New York from a deadly alien threat. Steven Moffat, Writer and Executive Producer, said:

“I’ve always loved superheroes and this Christmas, Doctor Who dives into that world. My favorite superhero is Clark Kent. Not Superman, Clark Kent.”

SYFY RENEWS ‘KILLJOYS’ AND ‘DARK MATTER’ FOR THIRD SEASONS

UNIVERSAL CITY, Calif. – September 1, 2016 – Syfy today announced a season three renewal for the space action dramas KILLJOYS and DARK MATTER. Both are currently wrapping their second seasons on Syfy: KILLJOYS will air its second season finale tomorrow, Friday, September 2 at 9/8c, while DARK MATTER will air a double episode on Friday, September 9 at 10/9c and 11/10c, and its season two finale on Friday, September 16 at 10/9c.

LOS ANGELES – June 29, 2016 – Syfy has renewed its critically acclaimed drama series 12 MONKEYS for a 10-episode Season 3 order, with new episodes expected to air in 2017. From Universal Cable Productions, 12 MONKEYS is co-created by Terry Matalas and Travis Fickett (“Nikita”) and is based on the 1995 Oscar^® nominated and Golden Globe-winning film of the same name.
