SAN DIEGO, Calif. – July 10, 2015 – USA Network unveiled its highly anticipated new drama,
COLONY, at San Diego’s Comic-Con® today. Executive producers Carlton Cuse (“Lost,” “Bates Motel”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”), along with series stars Josh Holloway (“Lost”), Sarah Wayne Callies (“Walking Dead”) and Peter Jacobson, treated fans to a dynamic panel discussion, a first look trailer and an exclusive eleven minute sneak peek of the show’s premiere episode.
COLONY will be coming to USA Network in mid-October.

TV Guide Chief Content Officer, Michael Schneider moderated the panel which included a surprise appearance by Nestor Carbonell who played Richard Alpert in Cuse’s “Lost.”
Outside the convention center, USA Network’s
COLONY has taken over transportation at Comic-Con providing attendees with complimentary rides with a fleet of
COLONY branded military vehicles and SUVs available through the Uber app, bicycles and pedicabs. An army of the series’ Transitional Authority enforcers, known as the Redhats, have been patrolling the streets, recruiting fans and issuing cards for Redhat rewards that can be redeemed at local retailers for free food. The activation continues through Saturday, July 11.
In addition to the today’s panel, Comic-Con® goers will have a chance to attend the first public screening of the premiere episode during a special Saturday, July 11 premiere screening to be held at the Horton Grand Theatre (444 4th Ave.) at 12:00 PM. The screening will be followed by a Q&A with Cuse, Condal, Holloway, Callies and Jacobson. Comedian Paul Scheer (“The League”) will moderate.
Set in the very near future,
COLONYcenters on one family’s struggle to survive and bring liberty back to the people of an occupied Los Angeles. SAG winner Josh Holloway (“Lost”) stars as former FBI agent Will Bowman and Satellite Award winner Sarah Wayne Callies (“The Walking Dead”) stars as his wife, Katie, in the series which takes place in a dangerous world of divided ideologies. While some choose to collaborate with the occupation and benefit from the new order, others rebel and suffer the consequences. After being separated from their middle son during the invasion, Will and Katie are willing to do whatever is necessary to be reunited with him. Thus, when the powerful Proxy Snyder (Peter Jacobson, “House”) offers Will a chance to get his son back if he will collaborate with the occupational government, Will and Katie find themselves faced with the toughest decision of their lives. They will have to go beyond whatever they thought possible, risking their lives and their relationship to protect their family.
