Lady Jane Grey, who ruled as Queen of England for only nine days was beheaded in 1553. My Lady Jane tells the alternate history the way that it should have happened. The damsel in distress rescues herself and her kingdom. This adventure is an epic tale of true love mixed in with fantasy and comedy, staring Emily Bader as Lady Jane and Edward Bluemel as Lord Guildford Dudley.

In the series, Jane’s mother is forcing her to wed, much to her horror. Anna Chancellor plays her mother, Lady Frances Grey, and Rob Brydon plays Guildford’s father, Lord Dudley. The two recently spoke with SciFi Vision about working on the series, including why they wanted to be a part of it, what family means to each of their characters, and working with the elaborate costumes.
