In Monster Summer, in theaters starting today, the summer of 1997 takes a dark turn for Noah (Mason Thames) and his friends, Ben (Noah Cottrell), Eugene (Julian Lerner), and Sammy (Abby James Witherspoon), when a mysterious evil descends upon their town. Their troubles escalate after Ben and his date Ellie (Lilah Pate) encounter a sinister force during a late-night swim. Aspiring journalist Noah, inspired by his late father's legacy, begins his own investigation and eventually teams up with retired detective Gene (Mel Gibson) to rescue his friend. Directed by David Henrie and also featuring Lorraine Bracco, Kevin James, Nora Zehetner, and Patrick Renna, this film offers a spooky adventure just in time for Halloween.
